http://news.yahoo.com/france-mexico-seek-answers-shocking-us-spy-claims-091058422.html France has grounds for complaints but Mexico --ffkk them! The government in Mexico actively promotes sending its welfare cases here by the millions to leech off of our social programs and sending its criminals too. We should invade the damn place and deposed its corrupt leaders. Then deport the over ten million sponges here back to there. We saved money in the long run if it cost us five years at a 200 billion dollars a year to do so IMHO... -Tyr

Larrymc. Gotta be honest with you, and everyone else here when I tell you. This report of spying on our Allies is...NOTHING NEW.

Truth is, but I cannot prove it since I am no longer in a position to have access to proof; but WE..the United States of America have been SPYING on other nations, both enemy, and friendly. Or those we identified as our Allies since....Our Revolutionary War.

As for lately. All it takes is for all of you to personally investigate, and find such facts for yourself in History books. More so in the Library of Congress, if you have the time.

Remember someone once stated "Keep your friends close, and your enemies Closer."
Anyone care to offer the author of that line?
Personally. I can say. Spying on EVERYONE, friend, or foe. Has been a dedicated, expensive, but very rewarding adventure that has saved, possibly MILLIONS of American lives.
And, like it or not. That IS the primary duty of WHOEVER happens to be called PRESIDENT.
