The reason for the questions is if you are a single male - one of the requirements for your health plan is maternity benefits

Can men have babies? That was the basis of a question asked (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/10/30/Sebelius-men-often-do-need-maternity-careew%20Article) posed to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius by Republican Congresswoman Renee Ellmers earlier today on Capitol Hill. It might seem like a silly question, because the answer is obvious, but under new Obamacare regulations young, healthy and single men are forced to pay for healthcare plans that include maternity coverage.
Ellmers: You also brought up the issue that when you were in Kansas [as health Commissioner and governor] that you fought against discriminatory issues… As far as [ObamaCare's] essential health benefits, correct me if I'm wrong: do men not have to buy maternity care?

Sebelius: Policies will cover maternity coverage. For the young and healthy, uh, under ythirty year-olds will have a choice also of a catastrophic plan that has no maternity coverage.

Ellmers: But men are required to purchase maternity coverage.

Sebelius: Well, an insurance policy has a series of benefits whether you use them or not…

Ellmers: And that is why health care premiums are increasing, because we are forcing them to buy things that they will never need. Thank you.

Sebelius: The individual policies cover families. Men often do need maternity care for their spouses and for their families, yes.

Ellmers: A single male, aged 32, does need maternity coverage. To the best of your knowledge, has a man ever delivered a baby?

Sebelius: I don't think so. In the name of equality, women are also forced to pay for health services under new Obamacare regulations that are specific to men. For example, prostate exams.
The bottom line: The Obamacare one size fits all model forces people to pay for coverage they do not need and will never use.

That's GovCo for you, making decisions for individuals instead of keeping out of peoples lives.

Remember all the Democrat flap about keeping out of women's vaginas? Funny how we don't hear that anymore.

Thank you for admitting Obamacare is lame. I thought not even a devoted and loyal liberal like you Gabby would support the government telling individuals what MUST be covered in their health care insurance polices. This so typical of Obama and do gooder liberals

This is why millions are losing their current coverage

There may be hope for you yet Gabby

So if you are a single guy - since your health policy did not have maternity benefits you has a "sub-standard plan"

Next up the Obama car. Your current car does not meet the minimum standards and only Dems know what is best for you when it comes to affordable transportation

This is just too complicated. Why not just pay the penalty or find an exemption, then when you get sick stiff the hospital for the bill? If they are going to rip you off anyway by billing you for full "list" prices, why not tell them to shove their bill where the sun don't shine?

I find it amazing Gabby is willing to toss women, and the "poor" under the bus for the sake of protecting Obama

Every report I have seen/read show the very people who supported Obama the most and the ones getting screwed over by Obamacare

Gabby was the one always bellowing how the right circled the wagons around Bush (yet Bush took a lot of heat from the right) while Gabby turns a blind eye to those being devastated by Obamacare
