Christie's win wasn't good for the R's… because he is no conservative. Not even close. And as they re-elected him, they passed a measure that takes minimum wage out of the hands of the legislature, and throws it in their constitution. Now it is controlled automatically by inflation. Not a conservative idea, and no why Jersey would ever elect a real conservative.

Liberal tolerance and civility know no bounds. Plus, Chris is hardly one to comment about someone else's' weight as he makes an over the top comment about Chris Christie's weight problem

Old school Republicans are not going to react well if Christie gets the 2016 GOP nomination. Imagine a Christie vs. Hillary presidential campaign. Fox News anchors and the conservative radio talking heads will die of apoplexy.

Nobody should react well to either of them getting the nomination, as they are just about one in the same.

The liberal media is already showing how they will cover the 2016 race if it is Christie VS Hillary

First up a typical butt kissing article in support of Hillary

The Washington Pom-Pom Post is at it again on Sunday with the article “Support for Clinton overflowing in Calif.” (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/in-la-supporters-of-a-2016-hillary-clinton-run-ready-to-get-on-board-early/2013/11/09/0298483c-48bd-11e3-a196-3544a03c2351_story.html) The only thing missing was an exclamation point and hearts to dot the I’s. It was “another stage, another overflowing ballroom.”

Post reporter Matea Gold – a recent transplant from the Los Angeles Times – features Hillary mugging in photos with rock star Lenny Kravitz and panel discussions with Rob “Meathead” Reiner. Everywhere she goes, liberals pile on to create a “Hillary Effect” for the next campaign:
“There’s huge energy for her, not only here, but all over California,” said Mickey Kantor, who served as commerce secretary under Bill Clinton. “Her roles as a senator, as secretary of state, as first lady – they’ve made her a star.”

Without a campaign to serve as a receptacle for their excitement, Clinton backers are boosting the fortunes of groups that come within Clinton's orbit. Call it the Hillary Effect.

Jubilant officials at the International Medical Corps, a humanitarian nonprofit based in Santa Monica, said the group raised close to $2 million after featuring Clinton at its annual awards celebration Friday night at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, whose ballroom was jammed with 880 people. Bill Clinton made an appearance at the VIP champagne reception beforehand, mugging for photos with singer Lenny Kravitz, among others.

Journalism died in 2006 and was buried in 2012. Now the liberal media no longer bothers to try and hide their bias and support for Dems

Now Dems in NJ offer up this laughable hit piece

Now that the smoke and dust have largely cleared from the New Jersey governor’s election, Democrats and their supporters in the media have begun the task of figuring out how to work with their newly reelected Republican chief executive over the next four years. Naw… I’m just kidding. They’re already trying to find ways to not only label his election as illegitimate, but to derail any future political ambitions Chris Christie might have. For one sterling example, we need only look across the Walt Whitman Bridge from South Jersey and read Will Bunch of the Philadelphia Daily News. He’s leading the charge with an ominously titled piece called, “The truth that should destroy Christie’s White House bid (http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/attytood/The-reality-that-would-destroy-Christies-White-House-bid.html).” (Ooooo… scary.)

…I do think Christie was tough to beat — even in a pretty blue, moderate-to-liberal state, even if his opponent had been someone like Sen. Cory Booker and not the women that Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show” labeled “Some Democrat.” But the race would have been much, much closer — and Christie’s reputation as a 2016 presidential front-runner, would have been severely tarnished — if it hadn’t been for one thing: Democratic bosses (yes, they have these) tanked.
Bunch isn’t using the word “tanked” as we often think of it – as in, “doing very poorly” – but rather to say that the Democratic bosses were “in the tank” for Christie because… well, I’ll let Will say it himself.

How did Christie get such widespread support from Democratic bosses, mayors, and others? Was it his good looks and charm? Well…I’m sure that helped, but mostly Christie won bipartisan support the old-fashioned way: He bought it (http://www.northjersey.com/columnists/Stile_Christies_strategy_of_wooing_key_Democrats_p ays_off_big.html).
Well, that’s a fairly serious charge, isn’t it? Are we talking bribery? Kickbacks? Illegal gifts? Actually, the source Bunch is quoting is talking about assistance received by Democratic mayors and other leaders for their communities.

- Michael Blunt, the African-American mayor of Chesilhurst in Camden County… was boosted by a $200,000 special state aid package for economically distressed towns in 2011.

- Harrison Mayor Ray McDonough after the governor secured approval from the Port Authority for a $250 million PATH transit hub for the downtown.

- Christie… attracted mayors with the promise of access and assistance in the future.
Well, gee. Imagine that. Helping to channel state resources to community development programs and getting their mayors on board with him. I suppose you can call that “buying an election” if you like, but you might just as easily call it standard state politics for being a governor.
