The Texas Gov wantabe is also the latest flavor of the month from the liberal media. Seems she care a lot about kids who are born - but could not care less about those who have yet to be born

and there lies the problem

Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth), best known for her 11-hour filibuster (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/texas-state-senator-wendy-davis-filibusters-her-way-to-democratic-stardom/2013/06/26/aace267c-de85-11e2-b2d4-ea6d8f477a01_story.html) against a controversial bill aimed at severely cutting access to abortion services across the Lone Star State, said (http://www.valleymorningstar.com/news/local_news/article_5374c1f2-469e-11e3-bc9f-001a4bcf6878.html) her views on abortion make her "pro-life."

“I am pro-life,” Davis said during a campaign stop at the University of Texas at Brownsville, according (http://www.valleymorningstar.com/news/local_news/article_5374c1f2-469e-11e3-bc9f-001a4bcf6878.html) to the Valley Morning Star.

“I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future," Davis said. "I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else.”

Davis said the battle over women's rights (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/30/wendy-davis-abortion-special-session_n_3526041.html) is "not a battle I chose."

“When I believe women’s health is in danger, I’m going to stand and fight to protect that," Davis said.

“This isn’t about protecting abortion. It’s about protecting women,” Davis said. “It’s about trusting women to make good decisions for themselves and empowering them with the tools to do that.”

Davis announced her run (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/03/wendy-davis-texas-governor_n_4039113.html) for Texas governor in October 2013. Two recent polls show Davis trailing Republican Greg Abbott, but the polls vary (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/05/wendy-davis-gregg-abbott_n_4219380.html)in how much she lags behind her opponent.
