What 11 Billion People Mean for Water Scarcity

So what exactly is being 'manufactured'?

I live in the part of Colorado that feeds the western states, it has been drought time and super low snow packed for a long time. Without a good snow pack to provide water all summer, levels run low.

One of the primary reservoirs is lower than anyone has seen since it was first damed up. The last several miles is DRY. The whole thing is 44% full. That is a huge issue. This past year the water was so bad that California farmers were cut off. Not sure how much you understand about farming, but in general no water means no crops.

It is a constant battle in this state (and many others) between the rural parts that have water and the cities that want to take all of it.
