“I would say three-fourths of this stuff he brings on himself and probably a fourth of it is bullying that shouldn’t be going on,” Levi Weatherly told WHOtv.com. The man's son was not named.

Null’s mother, Dawn Simmons, says classmates (http://whotv.com/2013/11/18/teen-bullied-students-post-video-online/)http://global.fncstatic.com/static/v/all/img/external-link.png have been “hitting him upside his head.”

That's assault, possibly aggravated assault. People who are bullied need to lose their hesitation to file criminal charges.

But in an email to Simmons, Principal Josh Ehn wrote that the latest “video posted online was not found to be bullying.”

It doesn't matter what the principal thinks, only what the courts think. However one would think that principal would be interested in preventing civil suits and criminal crime statistics in his school.

I do have one question: If one student slaps Levi upside the head and it's tolerated, can Levi break a chair over the perpetrator's head or throw acid in their face when they are not looking?

Here is the original story: http://whotv.com/2013/11/19/teen-bullied-neighbors-say-bullying-justified/

They say one gets bullied because one does not stand up for oneself. Some people with Aspergers lack a sense of proportion. Smart Aspies realize this and avoid fights knowing they could go too far. Telling an Aspie to fight back could be interpreted as a request to kill. What do you suppose would be the reaction if Levi killed the bully?

Every child boy or girl should be taught how to stand up for their self. Boys should be taught when to fight certainly not that's its never right to fight! My son has been taught to hit back when hit by another boy. The school and its teachings have no over riding authority over mine as his father. Any boy taught to never fight back is not likely to ever be a man. Not unless he learns the error of that and then starts to fight when physically attacked. I have never and never will give any of my parenting rights to school or any other human . Justin is being taught that Mom and Dad reign supreme. And when he is an adult he gets to take over his own life, that's teaching responsibility. Never back down unless its a prudent decision based upon survival to live to fight another day. Same as I was taught--served me well all my life. My problem was that as a wild young man I never found the prudent part too appealing and often took major chances. --Tyr
