Here's one Jafar might be particularly interested in.

As I recall, Jafar suspected that one Anjem Choudary might have been 'an MI6 stooge' .. ?

Well, if he is, that puts our MI6 Intelligence Service in league with some of the worst terrorists going !!!!!

See ....

“While painted by some as a figure of fun, an extremist crackpot whose media stunts are rightly ridiculed, Anjem Choudary has become a serious player on the international Islamist scene,” the report said. “Perhaps it is time to start concentrating on his role as a facilitator of terror.

“Al-Muhajiroun has quite simply been the single biggest gateway to terrorism in recent British history.”

The report said Mr Choudary had “his own international network of affiliated and partner organisations” that often used the name Sharia4 followed by the name of the country, such as Sharia4Pakistan. This network was “best described as the Global Sharia Network”.

Hope Not Hate normally campaigns against far-right extremists, but it said it had broadened its scope to include Islamist extremists because the al-Muhajiroun groups had a “track record of publicly expressing” racism, sexism, homophobia and anti-Semitism.

Ghaffar Hussain, head of research at the counter-extremism think-tank the Quilliam Foundation, said the report was “very thorough and much needed”. “Al-Muhajiroun has inspired many terror plots and continues to be a menace,” he said. “I hope this report can be followed up by a challenge against the poisonous ideology this group propagates.”

Do you concede that Choudary is a bona fide Muslim, with a Muslim agenda, that he's following, Jafar ?

And considering the scope and reach of his activities, do you also concede that he's rather more than a lone figure, or 'joke', wielding some real influence amongst other Muslims ?

Besides, it isn't just a matter of treating him as a common criminal. What about the organisational aspect ? What about his many followers ? What about what this all ties into ?

WHAT ABOUT RECOGNISING THE NATURE AND REACH OF THE TERRORISM THIS ALL LINKS INTO ?

From what I've seen, he is a stooge working for those who want to demonise Islam and Muslims, whether he knows it or not.

British Intelligence did the same with Mohamed Ibn Abdul Wahhab in order to sow discord and infighting in the Ottoman Empire to weaken them from within. Choudary is just a continuation.

You're saying that MI6 would let their so-called 'stooge' go as far as he has ??

Absurd.

Jafar, just look at the facts. Spin ceases to be credible in the face of what we now know is true. Events have moved on from the Ottoman Empire days .. you can't make a credible comparison.

Why not? The CIA let AL Qaeda go as far as they have. No lessons learned.

Perhaps you can list for us an account of 'CIA stooges' who have close and supportive ties to Al Qaeda, then, comparable for what you claim to be true for Choudary where MI6 is concerned ?

I'm not buying any nonsense about American intelligence agencies deliberately doing anything, for whatever reason, that might end up aiding Al Qaeda. And if you're harping back to the 1980's, remember, America was supportive of the Mujahiddeen ... NOT Al Qaeda !!

Asking Jafar to back up what he says is like asking Obama to back up his statement Obamacare is providing health coverage to millions of people

It is total fiction spewing form both of them
