Seems Dems are scared that people will take them at their word, assume the Obamacare site is up and running, and will log on to see what they get

Yes, the Obama regime is scared the site will crash and further show the voters the incompetence they re-elected for another 4 years

On Wednesday, the Obama administration leaked to The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/27/us/politics/white-house-urges-caution-on-health-site.html?hp) that it would be stifling the outreach efforts for Obamacare prior to this weekend, fearful that a “crush of new users” could sink Healthcare.gov entirely. According to “administration officials,” the Times reported, the White House had killed “a big health care marketing campaign planned for December out of concern that it might drive too many people to the still-fragile Healthcare.gov.”This is a major shift of message from an administration whose allies have encouraged Americans to talk about Obamacare over Thanksgiving turkey. Now, apparently, the White House wants to ensure that it does not receive “too much demand” – hardly the major problem for a program lagging dramatically in enrollees.

Nonetheless, the administration maintains that it has not changed message, and that in fact the website will be improved dramatically over time. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius stated, “We are definitely on track to have a significantly different user experience by the end of this month. That was our commitment.”

Actually, the administration publicly committed to fixing the Obamacare website by December 1, but has continually pushed off the deadline since making that commitment. Now, they administration says that if 250,000 access the Obamacare website at once, it will crash the site. Jennifer Palmieri, White House communications director, said, “Our concern is that we want to make sure that people have the right expectation going into this. Early October was a frustrating experience for users. We are preparing for the outcome that we have as many or more visitors as we had on Oct. 1.” She told her union allies, “You shouldn’t be driving traffic.”

Yes sir, these are the people I want in charge of MY healthcare. They can't even run a web sight, or heck fix it for that matter.

Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate includes unlimited virtual users with the MSDN pack under $12,000. One person can load test an application on a $12,000 budget. It's amazing that Obama lets cronyism jeopardize his presidency.

Not only that but with the government running things your doctor's waiting room will probably look like the track

You mean the private sector can do things faster, cheaper, and more efficient than the government?

That will come as a shock to every liberal reading your post

It will be fun to watch the Obama lovers try and spin the continued failures of Obama's pet project. Will the taxpayers ever know the real cost to them to finance this debacle?

Forgive me if you've heard this one before. At 9 p.m. EST tonight, Healthcare.gov will be going down (http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/29/politics/obamacare-site-maintenance/index.html) for "last-minute maintenance." Saturday is the self-imposed deadline (http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2013/11/26/report-democrats-sweating-bullets-over-saturdays-obamacare-deadline-n1753025) to fix the website.
It is doubtful, however, that this fix will solve all of the site's problems once and for all. As CNN reports:

On the eve of the deadline, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius advised users to shop on the website during "off-peak hours," which she described as "mornings/nights/weekends" in a blog post for Huffington Post.

Officials fear another huge surge in volume that the site can't handle, which is what occurred around its launch in October.

HealthCare.gov was originally planned to handle 50,000 concurrent users, and will reach that capacity by Saturday, the White House official said.
However, big spikes in traffic -- such as the 200,000 who tried to get on at the same time on October 1 -- would cause users to go into a queue to receive e-mails advising them when to return, the official noted.
The president has expressed optimism (http://townhall.com/tipsheet/christinerousselle/2013/11/29/obama-says-theres-nowhere-to-go-but-up-regarding-healthcaregov-n1755073) regarding the botched website, and has promised that things will get better for a "vast majority" of people.
It is unknown what will happen if the government fails to meet its own deadline of December 1st.
