I just don't get the bowing thing, which most people around the world would see the person doing the bowing as 'beneath' the person they are bowing too. And it's not just a US president, I sure as hell wouldn't expect other world leaders to bow to a US president either. Maybe it's just me.

I've seen a series of these photos on 'ijreview'. The 'unidentified' lady, apparently, is the Norwegian Prime Minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

What I found funny was - apparently - that Obama's wife was jealous of what was seemingly going on. So ....
