An Ohio police chief who is well-versed in social media has written an open letter to Kanye West addressing comments the star made likening himself to police officers and military personnel.

David Oliver, 45, is known for using the Brimfield Police Department's Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BrimfieldPolice/posts/743802108982168) page to scold criminals - and more than 98,000 followers are fans of his updates.

Oliver writes, in a letter dripping with sarcasm, that he's not sure he's worthy of addressing such a major star as Kanye West.

I read this days ago - Kanye West is and always has been an effing idiot. Remember, during Katrina, he was the one that stood up during the plea for donations with the "George Bush doesn't like black people" or whatever crap he spoke. He tells photographers "don't even talk to me" and claims they aren't good enough to talk to him and breathe the same air as him. He also said the other day that he is this generations "Mandela" and will do greater things. In other words, he's an egotistical asshole.

Poor Kanye's not smart enough, or intelligent enough to even read the letter.

Somebody probably had to read it for him, and they lied...telling him it was a STUPID FAN letter.
