See you guys later. I am off to a wonderful family day shopping(wife loves it), eating and taking wife and son to movies. The shopping will wear me out but I will trod on as a happy trooper so my wife has a great time. That will be made up for by my son's sheer joy and supreme delight in this family day. He has asked every day since last Sunday- is today the day? Is this family day? Now he is dressed ready to go and as happy as a clam. This is a reward specially for his eating better and improvement at school. -Tyr

well done, Tyr! My daughter loves family outings. Though they are usually not with my husband and I. She much prefers seeing her grandparents or her aunt. But she was thrilled to accompany my husband to meet with a client today.

Tyr, I know outings are tiring, but always consider the lasting memories you are creating. I am now 30 and still cherish all the places I went with my dad.

My wife's Dad came to the US for a visit. We spent the day on Cape Cod eating award winning clam chowder and seafood, then hanging around the beach listening to the waves, watching the boats and the birds. We wanted to take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, but it only runs from Hyannis after the weather warms up.

Wow, had an amazing day. I enjoyed it all even the shopping because my wife was having such a blast and Justin was in pure bliss. It was after all-"his day". We watched Hunger Games 2 because thats the movie he choose for us to see. It was a good movie. We ate at El Porton because he chose mexican food for his dad. He said, daddy loves Mexican food so lets eat there! That sure made me proud to see his consideration. Spent about 8 hours and it was pure joy. True I was tired when arriving home so I took an hour long nap.;).. Justin told me after I got up from my nap that this was the best day ever!!! I believe we are just going to try to top this best day ever next Saturday. I phoned my adult daughter KK to tell her all about it. She told me this, Dad you did that so often with me as a kid and I've repeated it often with Caleb. Thanks for being the best Dad in the world. Brought tears to this old dog's eyes. I've been very blessed indeed and have done nothing to deserve it. Now if I can just get my wish to not pass on until my son is an adult I will go a happy man.. I remember how completely lost I was when at 15 my father dad. I'll sacrifice anything to keep him from having to endure that extreme pain, misery and confusion... -Tyr
