Call me crazy, thinking of taking the middle school kids to Aurelio's Pizza tomorrow night, while the high school girls are at the military ball. The Catholics have to have 'no meat,' the others can have whatever.

Truth is the high school girls are pretty easy, except the one that last week Madeline would have sent for 'child porn.' LOL! Not exactly, she had on a top and shorts, but ahem, inappropriate. She's Muslim, her mom is religious. Right now Mom has disowned her, but the boss thinks she'll come around, eventually.

The middle schoolers can be a bit of work, :gr8 understatement. ;) Three of them can go into meltdown at the same time. There are 6 of them and only 4 HS girls. However, they usually act correctly when in public. Aurelio's has good Chicago Pizza, thin, thick, and stuffed. They also have great Italian dishes, that serve 7. I figure the 7 of us could get out for under $60, which isn't bad. So do I do 1 pasta dish and 1 pizza or 1 pizza and 2 appetizer combo platters for total of 6 appetizers? Or 2 pizzas? I'll probably let the girls pick how they want to do this. Hopefully they can work it out while the high schoolers are getting decked out.

We'll take pictures around 6:30 with their dates-only boys from campus. Then we'll take them to the dance, watch the 'sword ceremony' and see the 'princess of the sea' crowned. (NJROTC is the reason for the ball). Then we've got 3 hours. If they're really good, I might pop for frozen yogurt or DQ. ;)

I'm hoping that doing something 'fun' together, without the other ft around, might help the bonding. 1 of the 'problem' girls is like my 'pet' in that she really likes me, probably the grandma she's been looking for. 2 others are ok with me. The other three tolerate, but are playing the two of us against each other. So far I've always been the 'bad cop,' she's the one to 'take out' for treats. I know how now and can drive the 15 person van. ;)
