Something else that people are changing the way they call something, with the intent of trying to vilify the other person or make them sound worse.

I've had remote control airplanes since I was a young boy. I had remote control helicopters, boats, cars... Now suddenly they are ALL called drones. They didn't do this until military drones were starting to be used around the world. So now when the guy down the road uses his new toy up and down the road, even if it is for taking a peek at neighbors or messing with someone - it's a drone. It sounds more like a bad device when calling it a drone, as opposed to a RC device.

The Drone in the Whitehouse has now decided drones are to fly over our friendly skies just in case he needs a quick way to eliminate certain pesky opposition . See the magic man has put your old toys to work! Who says he is not a job creator!??

I must've missed the memo. I still call them RC whatevers.

Military drones are someone's idea of anesthesizing the reality of war. The leftwing model of the "perfect" war. No casualties on our side and only bad guys on theirs. Maybe if people would get back to fighting with swords and the reality of war was in their faces they wouldn't be so quick to start them.

And leave the RC to cars and planes for amusement.

No war ever fought was harmless or painless. The leftwing Americans haven't a clue about what it takes to keep this nation and it's citizens free. As always it takes blood, guts and treasure. The Dems hate that so many brave military have done their duty and sacrificed so much. They long for the day when we can just kiss ass every time we are threatened.. F-that and F-THEM.

No they don't have a clue. However, they are dictating policy via their willing accomplices the media.

I'm sure the French will be more than happy to make us a big white flag to replace the Stars and Stripes with when called upon to do so. Probably for a fee in Euro dollars.

Too bad the DRONE in the White House looked the other way when all of those Celebrating Taliban leaders got together, reminding their members to ATTACK AMERICA.

But then. Why would Obama do that? He might upset, or offend his Muslim Brotherhood buddies who work for him in Washington.

In case someone hasn't seen this, or has forgotten...

From CNN 17 October 2015:
-----------------------------------------------
The Department of Transportation plans to announce the formation of a task force on drones.

It will tackle the creation of a registration process for people who buy them and follows an announcement by aviation officials that technology is in the works that would identify operators of rogue drones.

Drones going where they shouldn't have run afoul with regulators -- zipping too close to airline flights, crashing at sporting events and hindering aerial wildfire extinguishing operations while they buzz around taking video of the flames.

If drones are registered, they could be traced back to people who bought them, then remote pilots might act more responsibly...

Nevertheless, if one invades your property air space and you shoot it down, with it being registered — if indeed it is — the owner can more easily be found and prosecuted.

An owner of one recently steered his over someone's property. The guy at the property claimed his daughter was out sunbathing. He shot down the drone. He was arrested.

---

A Kentucky man shot down an $1,800 drone hovering over his sunbathing daughter and was then arrested and charged with first degree criminal mischief.

The worst drones of all times are all stored in Washington DC. They are collectively known as "Congress."
