I don't even care if I look like a dumbass back then. I don't have a lot of pictures of my Mom. I found a box today in our attic and it had a set of pictures from my brother John's 1st wedding in 1991. So keep that in mind, these are 23 years old! But I'm thrilled to have found some pictures of Mom I didn't know I had, and some others.

First, this was my cat Sadie, and myself...

Old diagnostics disk I found. Today, you would be hard pressed to be able to store more than 1 image on one of these!

Looks like a cute girlfriend there, man.

Yeah, I miss talking to Joan... she was a sweetheart.

Perhaps, but looking back I think I was always the emotional one and was always told "I wear my heart on my sleeve" and had MY heart broke a few times!

Thanks! I miss her so much. I'm just still so thrilled that I found some pictures. I honestly don't have a lot. And I don't think I had ANY with me and Mom together.

Yep, that's Tina, my first love. I dated her with the intent of just trying to get some, one thing lead to another and I fell in love. She broke my heart 4-5 years later. But not long after my heart healed I met my wife. :)

Mom was not only Mom for me. When here she could be one of us. When I had friends over she was one of us. She adapted and was a lot of fun. She also had a heart of a mountain of gold. She nicknamed me "precious" when I was a baby and I had to hear it my whole life, and I got mocked by family and such for years and years. She held onto that name throughout my life. I would give anything in this world to hear that voice again and hear her calling me that just one more time. She was also one of my best friends. We spoke almost daily about anything and everything. Every single day since she has passed I think about picking up the phone or feel like I want to call her.

Hey precious  seriously thanks for posting, I only have a handful of pics so I am glad to see them. Yes as Mother's day rolls around I seem to miss her even more, I think about her everyday but this time of year is the worst. As I ride down the road on the bike I can still hear her telling me I should join the " over the hill gang " if she was alive today I am sure I would have one of those Tee shirts that say Son's of Arthritis, she would of loved that.

I had so many other cats too! At that stage of those pictures is when we had at least 4 of them living there. And it's funny you say that about Janeen, she said similar when I showed her the picture and now that I look at it I see the likeness too! I don't think growing up I ever even gave it a thought.

And that's her husband in the last one, I'm only related "by law", he's not my blood.

Great Idea NV, Jim please make me a copy with the pics of Mom.

I think we need to see a recent pic of Janeen.

Janeen is a beautiful Lady, in a lot of ways she reminds me of my Mom, both her and James favor her. When I remember back to being a kid my sister looks exactly what I remember my Mom looking like and mentally they are the same as well ( DRAMA  ) Also the picture of Jim in PA my nephew is behind him( Janeen's kid ) at this age he looks to be about 15 or 16 and he stood 6'5" at the time, the kid is a giant.

I now have them on a CD, on my computer, on a hosting site & of course still have the originals.

I don't think I have any. I'll try to sneak a few this week. I'll be stopping at her place for a few hours prior to heading south this Friday!

Grape Ape! Who remembers that old cartoon show? That's our brother in law, a monstrous red headed dolt who acts like a child!
