Or maybe just redneck. Hubby asked me what I wanted for our anniversary this year. I jokingly said a new truck (I honestly didn't think we'd be able to swing it this soon). Or kitchen stuff, or a new toolbox for being more mobile and organized around the farm and not having to use a homer-bucket. Didn't think he'd actually do all of them. Most women ask for jewelry and flowers, and other 'romantic' stuff. Not me. I love to dress up and be super-girly but most any kind of jewelry I have just sits in my dresser anyway. The horses aren't really impressed by any of it.

The only romantic thing I want is his arms around me and the one-on-one time together, which other than just before going to bed, is a bit infrequent given our busy lives. We went out to dinner at Barrio last night and had a fun time though.

Are you going to ask for a lift kit (installed) for Christmas?

KitchenKitten. ANYTHING a man can do for the lady he loves is the greatest gift.

Nothing Odd, or Redneck about it. You deserve it. Enjoy!

No, it's leased, which is why we were able to swing a new truck sooner. I hardly drive anywhere since I no longer need to commute for work or school, or anything, really.

I could put Mopar parts and accessories on it (including a lift) without issues with the lease, but it has the upgraded 20" rims so it sits high as it is. I need to get a new ball mount because the one I have doesn't drop low enough.

Men know that the best way to get what they want is to provide women what they want.
Men remain the "head of the household." We women all know which "head" it is.

Nice truck, good luck with it. I have a 09 and love it, Dodge makes a great truck and the technology they have put in it is great !

That's what it's all about. If "that" head gets satisfied, the other one doesn't matter. My wife got that idea early in our marriage: until we wound up essentially homeless. She then learned never again short circuit my judgement.
