Now this is too funny, the same day Sonic made it public that they didn't want law abiding citizens to carry on their patio's one of there stores got robbed  When you make it public that no guns will be on premise you kind of give the bad guys a heads up.

On a good note the day I heard this I went to Sonic here by the house ( got to love those Lemon Berry fresh fruit slushes ) and asked the manager about this and he told me " he thought it was a stupid idea and as long as he didn't see any issues he wouldn't complain " another words be responsible and carry like you have some sense and nothing will be said. I have found many places like this, now that isn't to say if I had to use deadly force at one of these places that they wouldn't throw it back in my face, but hell it is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 .

Breitbart News reported (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/05/31/Chili-s-Asks-Customers-Not-To-Open-Carry-In-Their-Restaurants-Sonic-Does-The-Same) that Sonic restaurants asked law-abiding "customers [to] refrain from bringing guns" to their restaurants on May 30.

On that same day, according The Topeka Capital Journal (http://cjonline.com/news/2014-05-30/robbery-reported-sonic-drive-central-topeka), two individuals who may have realized law-abiding citizens were unarmed walked into a Topeka, Kansas Sonic and robbed it.
According to police, the suspects are two black males, both of whom were wearing hoodies and white pants.
This same thing happened to Jack in the Box once they asked law-abiding citizens to quit carrying guns in their restaurants.
On May 11 Breitbart News reported (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/05/23/Three-Jack-In-The-Box-Robberies-Since-Law-Abiding-Citizens-Asked-To-Leave-Guns-At-Home) Jack in the Box told law abiding citizens they would "prefer" they not carry guns into the restaurants. On May 13 there was a shooting at a Nashville Jack in the Box and on May 18 and 20 there were armed robberies at Jack in the Box restaurants in Houston, TX
