If this blows it would certainly be a population control event.

The world’s authority on Yellowstone’s Super Volcano says it’s more than twice as big as scientists once thought. Does that mean it’s more likely to blow up soon?

It's huge and it's overdue to blow. Libs need to get together and create laws that ban volcanoes before it causes massive climate change.

Lol, how many times will we see the bolded phrase before we learn not to jump on some bandwagon every time a scientific report comes out? No doubt in the future we will see that things are 'different than scientists once thought" applied to concepts like climate change, the beginnings of the Universe, dangers of caffeine, causes of disease, etc., etc. Yet people continue to take every word as gospel, and attempt to force change based upon it.

I think Al Gore needs to be put in charge of it. And on top of it.

The one, great thing about this possible volcanic explosion is.

Not one Democrat, nor Al Gore can say, or do anything about it.

Al can't blame HUMANS, and Democrats can't TAX Yellowstone. Unless they figure a way to IRS the animals.

Besides. IF, and WHEN Yellowstone decides to BLOW.

NONE OF US WILL BE HERE, NONE OF US WILL BE ABLE TO COMPLAIN.

THE END.

I'm not so sure, AT. Somehow, someway, humans/corporations will be blamed for it. And if all else fails, the volcano, like Katrina, will be deemed racist.

Abbey. Can't disagree with that. But...If it did happen. Their last words, as the Incineration takes place will probably be "IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!"

On top of it for sure .... but that would spoil the natural beauty of the park.

Just saying...

http://www.weather.com/news/yellowstone-national-park-closes-popular-geysers-attractions-due-melting-road-20140710

Several popular attractions at Yellowstone National Park are temporarily off-limits because of a melting road, officials said Thursday.Extreme heat from surrounding thermal areas created a hot spot that melted asphalt on Firehole Lake Drive, a 3.3-mile loop that takes tourists past Great Fountain Geyser, White Dome Geyser and Firehole Lake.
As park officials examined possible fixes, they warned visitors not to hike into the affected area, where the danger of stepping through solid-looking soil into boiling-hot water was high...

Sassy. If Al Gore paid attention when someone told him to "put a cork in it Al". He'd be getting a NOBEL prize like Obama for (as FONZI once said) "SITTING ON IT!"

And the headlines across the world would read:
"Al Gore Silences, Plugs, and Closes Old Faithful, saving the world from ABSOLUTE, ETERNAL STUPIDITY".

Very interesting.

This perhaps lends context to a 'cute' advert that's been playing in the UK fairly recently. I hope you can view it in the US (... I suspect you won't be able to ?) ... but just in case this works, here it is (.. well, the Irish version of it, anyway ..) ....

Liberals usually do spoil the natural beauty of an area......just look at San Francisco. Hopefully the libs will protest the volcano (on location and as it erupts). After all, it needs to be protested as it is almost definitely the results of fracking.

If the Yellowstone people allow all park visitors to pack heat, they will be able to defend themselves against active volcanoes.
