More Lost Emails: FEC Destroyed Hard Drive of Ex-Lerner Employee

In addition to the destruction of former IRS official Lois Lerner's computer hard drive, the Federal Election Commission recycled the hard drive of one of her former employees, adding to the list of emails that have gone missing in relation to the IRS's targeting of conservative groups.

In a letter to the FEC, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and committee member Jim Jordan blasted the destruction of FEC attorney April Sands' hard drive, saying it has hindered the investigation.

"The FEC's failure to retain Ms. Sands' hard drive prevented the FEC Office of Inspector General from fully pursuing appropriate criminal sanctions for Ms. Sands' admitted violation of federal law," the letter said. "Like the IRS's destruction of Lois Lerner's hard drive, the FEC’s recycling of Ms. Sands' hard drive may have also destroyed material responsive to Freedom of Information Act and congressional oversight requests."

Sands resigned from the FEC in April after admitting to violating the Hatch Act, which bans executive branch employees from engaging in partisan political activities on federal time or at federal facilities.

She also had a history of tweeting criticism of Republicans while praising President Barack Obama, the Daily Caller reported.

"I just don't understand how anyone but straight white men can vote Republican. What kind of delusional rhetorical [sic] does one use?" Sands, who is black, wrote in a tweet on June 4, 2012.

A tweet by Sands on May 1, 2012, said, "Dear every single Republican ever, When will U learn that Barack Hussein Obama is simply smarter than U? Stand down, Signed #Obama2012 #p2."

And in a message on Aug. 25, 2012, Sands called Republicans her "enemy."

It is unclear whether Sands and Lerner communicated after Lerner's move to the IRS, the Daily Caller noted, but the Oversight Committee letter points out that Lerner was known to have communicated with other FEC employees after her move.

Just keeps getting bigger the collusion, conspiracy and massive corruption.
Does any rational person think this massive cover-up was undertaken for any reason other than that of covering for Obama himself!????

Folks, Obama was in on it neck deep or else we'd not see this type of massive movement to try to keep it all hidden now and this movement by Obama is still growing.

Tyr, I dare say that many would simply love for B.O. to say that he's not finished yet and therefore needs to stay a bit longer in OUR White House. I've been thinking this for years after I've learned more and more about him. The more you learn the more he STINKS. I hate to say it but I find my prospects of how B.O. leaves VERY interesting for when it comes time for him to welcome his replacement. Let us hope that we, at least, get to elect someone to replace B.O. (whether he steps down gracefully or steps down at all). HE still has a few years to totally replace leaders within the military so they or "LAW" enforcement will not be the ones to escort him out......it will likely take WE THE PEOPLE as Thomas Jefferson said is a good thing from time to time.

John Adams hoped that he would never look down from heaven to see that the efforts and sacrifice of our founders were not in vane. I believe they would all be shamed by what we have allowed after so much has been sacrificed since our founding to the efforts of our soldiers today. Could someone please find that quote from John Adams.....I can't find it anywhere and I would have preferred to have quoted him on that because it is so profound when comparing the slime we have today.

IS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO COULD IMAGINE B.O. GOING TO WAR AS WASHINGTON OR THE FICTIONAL CHARACTER IN WILL SMITH'S INDEPENDENCE DAY?! Truthfully, I see B.O. more as Benedict Arnold. Sad isn't it! Washington was a REAL man and refused to be president forever while B.O. would LOVE to be president forever under the banana republic he is fundamentally transforming OUR Nation into.

Tyr, you say that it keeps getting bigger and bigger but this is by design. It is my opinion that B.O. has done so much in way of scandals, it would be impossible to keep up with and get to the bottom to. The only real recourse would be to suspend his administration till all the $#!T has been dealt with. It is madness and although I'm not a Bush fan.......he'd never have been elected with the crap B.O. spewed during '08 and would have never been elected had he involved himself with the scandals B.O. has implemented with the aid of Holder on most accounts. My God....Reagan had his I/C thing and Clinton had his bombing folks to cover/postpone the Monica disgrace, the 'suspicious' murders of Clinton's associates before and during his presidency, the murders in Wako and the unprovoked, thug murder of RUBY RIDGE and let's not forget that Bush had his day of anti-Constitutionalism but B.O. has made them all look like choir boys. Look at the murders before B.O. was president that covered up his past, the murders of our troops after WE got OBL, Benghazi, Mexican victims under FAST & Furious and the list goes on and on and on since this tyrant has held the reigns.

Why are we subjected to Bush's airport security while B.O.'s welcomed guests from Mexico travel by air with no I.D. Why are they using public transit without being deloused?! Why can't many folks be exempt of their debts to the IRS or free from bankrupcy when we have funds to simply give away to those who are here illegally?! It is all utter chaos and it is (IS) by design!!!

Tyr, I truly believe we have only seen the tip of the iceburg and once (IF) history reveals the truth about this traitor, we will all be shamed. Jackson, FDR and presidents like them have spilled American blood needlessly, had little to no regard for our Constitution and have been more of a threat to AMERICANS than any OBL, HIlter or Stalin could have ever been (within our own soil) and I hope they all have their corner of HELL for what they've done and continue to do.
