Last time I heard, things Down Under were moving along quite well. It mid-winter at the present. Aussie planes won't fly to the Middle East because of political instability. The Aussie Rules footy race is entering its final six weeks. A lot of beer is being consumed. Kangas are still hoping.
Big news item: In a Parliament filled with male indiscretions, some want a female senator sanctioned for remarked she made on a talk show. When asked what kind of man she wanted as a partner, she replied:

''They must have heaps of cash and they've got to have a package between their legs''.

That rules out anyone from this forum, obviously.

If you're going to quote the John Birch Society, please give them credit for their insightful analysis.

Things are fine here thanks.

The idiot in charge is ignoring climate change. He even wants to allow loggers into pristine forests in Tasmania.

He is not popular here. If there was an election tomorrow, the opposition would win a landslide.

Meh, who needs cash when you got a nice package to keep you happy! Anyone can earn money, but the other .... a little harder to obtain.
