Under the guise of maintaining the idea of net neutrality Nancy Pelosi is proposing heavy regulation of broadband services centralizing even more power with the government. The Cuckoo-pants is strong with this one.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi wants to give federal regulators sweeping new powers over Internet access.
The move is necessary, she said Monday, to save net neutrality and protect Internet users. But Republicans and business groups warn that applying utility-style regulations to the Internet would strangle economic growth and ultimately mean worse Internet service. The woman is a socialist loon. And total control freak. Everything she ever proposes is about the Federal government controlling something.

It's a damn good thing she isn't running the House.

Idiots just won't be happy until they've screwed up a wonderful thing.

namvet. Considering how Nancy's state is having major water problems. Why waste perfectly good water on a perfect Idiot like her?

Someone should get a gallon of SUPER-GLUE to replace the water for the BOARDING. That would solve...ALL PROBLEMS INSTANTLY.

So my question is: How do we maintain Net Neutrality?
If the feds don't stop them, service providers are going to jack up the prices to make internet fast lanes for those who gobble up a lot of data...meaning everyone who uses Netflix or any other HD video streaming service

Encourage competitive market forces perhaps?

I believe the marketplace would work itself out, especially when it's the internet. When the price spikes for the heavy users, there will be a market for low end users. Someone will gladly take that money too, just for lower bandwidth. They could easily automate something like that, I believe. I couldn't imagine a company not wanting to make some money from everyone.
