LETTER SUBMISSION

The All-Ukrainian non-governmental organization “Unification Sector” Ukraine received an official request from the operational command “South” of the 28th infantry mechanized brigade in the person of the battalion chief Shcherbynа Sergiy to render the following assistance:

Primarily:

* body armor – 480 units

* portable radio set (operating radius from 5 km tо 20 km) – 20 units

* thermal imager – 5 pieces

* night-vision device – 40 pieces (number of mechanized subunits)

* night sight – 40 pieces( number of mechanized subunits)

* collimating sight- 72 pieces (military officers sergeants)

* remote-piloted vehicle– 5 units

* tactical (battlefield) holster– 36 pieces for military officers

* kevlar helmets – 483 pieces

* knee protectors – 350 pairs

Secondly:

* army boots of the second list of equipment– 483 pairs

* fatigue uniform for mechanicians–drivers –– 61pieces

* gumboots - 480 pairs

* raincoats – 483 pairs

* fleece jackets – 483 pairs

* diesel smoke-free furnace– 50pieces

“Sector Unification” Ukraine has already started the process of collection of the required military equipment and partially delivered it to a place of the brigade’s location. Because of the fact that “Unification Sector” is the nonprofit organization, we face a problem of the tight resources. That’s why the managing administration of organization urges to help the soldiers of the 28th infantry mechanized brigade, who will carry out military tasks in the zone of the anti-terrorist operation. The situation with delivery of military supplies is catastrophic.

Only 15% of the brigade is ready for the direct military operations, not 85% as it was reported by the Ministry of Defense. The sniper specialists don’t have the optical trackers, at the automatic riflemen’s disposal are only 40 bullets. There are no protection facilities, 80% of the weapons and military equipment are out of repair. The most part of soldiers has no professional military education, they recently worked in the fields which are out of all relation to military schooling. But all of them want to come back home alive, where their wives, children, relatives and friends are waiting for them.

The whole procedure of the assistance delivery will be captured on video by the representatives of Mass Media and published on the official website of our organization, no any photo reports. The All-Ukrainian non-governmental organization “Unification Sector” Ukraine ensures that the collected military assistance will be delivered to each soldier on a full scale and directly handed as soon as possible.

* knee protectors – 350 pairs

I have knee pads from when I played pop warner football back in 1982. I know it's not 350 pairs, but it's a start.

She is such a babe!

Back to the OP... I would think that boots for the troops would take precedence over holsters for the officers.
