LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Adam "Pacman" Jones, the embattled NFL player wanted in Las Vegas in connection with a strip club melee, somehow sneaked past a crush of media and surrendered to police just before 2 a.m. Friday.
Jones, who is charged with two counts of felony coercion, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and went free after posting a $20,000 bail, according to Las Vegas police. Jones' mug shot reveals that he has shedded his dreadlocks, causing some to wonder if his new clean-cut look is intended to rehabilitate his public image, enable him to slip past the media, or both.
He is due to return for a July 27 court appearance.
