This one is still my favorite, simply because it was unplanned, and is untouched, and still (I think) looks cool.

Crater Lake?
Lake Tahoe. The largest and deepest alpine lake in the world, and just a hop, skip and a jump from where I live. Nice ride to on the Harley.

Yep, Full blooded Golden. She was 10 months old in that pic. The happy part is why I like the pic, she beams happy.

That was a Sony F707, if I remember correctly (one of the few things I lost in the divorce) http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/sony/dsc_f707-review/ is a link to it.....I think.
Had it in manual mode and took about 10-20 shots that all came out well. I blew it up and had it put on canvas...the picture hangs on my wall, now.
Thaks for the compliment.

If this is considered bad (needs to be censored) I understand.....
But this is a photo I took of my old boss, just before he retired from our company. I think the composition, and depth of field are pretty damn good.

I need to move out west. We don't have anything that beautiful here on the East Coast.

Exactly. And that very reason is large part why I live out west myself. I love the mountains.

Her vision is going and her hearing is gone but her nose still works. She can sniff out a crumb at 100 yards in a tornado. Aside from sight and hearing she is actually very healthy. She still wants to go when the hunting gear comes out but I just wont risk it any more. We have logged a lot of miles and she deserves her retirement.

I understand that. It must be hard on her..can you swim her in a small pond maybe?

Yes. Actually my wife trains gun dogs and I tag along from time to time to help her. I alway make sure Becky gets to go have a bird or go for a swim when we are out. As you can probably tell I love these animals. Watching them do what they were bred to do and then come into the house and be part of the family is amazing.

WOW!! Love the pics. Especially crater lake and the pic of Hawaii. When I get the chance I'll find one I like to post.
I haven't gone through my pics of the Ozarks yet, those are beautiful mountains. We took a train ride and got some good shots.
