Two Parties, Two Directions on Taxes

Republican governors have been cutting taxes, while Democrats have been raising them.

Even if Democratic governors wanted to cut taxes, they have painted themselves into a corner by promising eveything to all their constituents. It must be hard to stand by all the groups who voted for you and still do what is best for society at large. The Democrats (and liberal Republicans) have built a house or cards and the only ones who are delaying the inevitable crash are the excellent Republican governors, like Scott Walker, John Kasich, and others.

Who was it that extolled the stupidity of the american voter? There's some truth to that - the willfull ignorant. The people who watch TV and see how they can get a "Free!!" Scooter, or ankle brace, or whatever. it's FREE! NO COST!

Yet paid for through their (generally not the user - the healthy and employed; those who PAY taxes) taxes.

$500 for taxes, say, to get a "Free" $35 knee brace. :-/ People line up for that crap.

As many of us already know. After watching TWO presidential elections take place, and the election of Obama TWICE.

There really is a lot of TRUTH in that man's statement about the American people being STUPID.

As I have said many times here. Democrats depend on, and use the Ignorance/Stupidity of Americans to get elected.

Democrats pretend they want to improve the Government Educational system by always asking for MORE MONEY to solve the problem. But...those More Money claims aren't Honestly directed at the Children, but rather, the Democrats, and the Teachers Union memberships.

So. As long as the Democrats, and Teachers Union Memberships keep getting more money, and the children nothing.

The AMERICAN PEOPLE remain STUPID, DUMB, IGNORANT, and LIBERAL.

Some of these GOP Governors need to "walk the walk". Exhibit A is Paul LePage. There's no excuse that he hasn't made a serious challenge to Maine's almost 8% state income tax. I also think Georgia's Nathan Deal is a failure on that score, even with a GOP legislature. There's no excuse for Georgia having a higher state income tax than Massachusetts.

^But Georgia has a lower state sales tax. There are multiple ways to raise money. I didn't look at property tax averages.
