You guys have done so much for me and dad already and I love you all for it! I am not asking you to donate, you have already done that.

I do want to ask you to do me a favor, and spread this link around for me to other sites that you may visit. Please and Thank you!

I'm going to move this to the announcements section.

Hopefully if anyone else can put this to a larger audience, that would be awesome. I don't want anyone to spam, but if another board allows for such posts, or if one of you has like a zillion facebook friends... I've found such efforts to be very successful in the past when it's for a good cause. We might be able to help out that much more if we simply share the link/story with others.

To give an idea on how fast an audience can grow. I posted this on my FB which has a mere 126 friends. A friend turned around and shared it with over 1200 of his friends. He then posted it in a "group" that also has over 1200 members. There's no guarantees, but a few simple shares can go a long way.

Done. God Bless. Wonderful idea. Prayers/Friends combined...really DO work in mysterious ways.

You should bring this to the attention of the local media. Some are too proud to do so, but I think it is worth a shot.
My dad's best friend had a fellow vet die from the residual effects of Agent Orange a few years back. The VA tried to say it was from "outside causes" and not pay bills. We brought the story to a TV station, which aired it. The vet's family not only got a large outpouring of assistance, but also an apology from the Pentagon.
