Jerome's Christmas present

We were talking about dogs and them dying in another thread and it made me sad. And I know Jerome is very old and may not make it until next Christmas. Since I live about 30 seconds from Petco, I ran out and got him another new bed. He has like 30 of them now. This one is made out of memory foam, and also has a cover I can take off and wash it. It's also heated. Basically it's meant for aging dogs, and can help with his pains and arthritis. He instantly walked over (took about an hour) and started mushing his face into it. Then he just sat up and started staring at it, with whatever vision he has left. And now that I type this, he just finally plopped down. I hope he actually uses it. He wanders in the middle of the night and usually ends up on the hardwood floor. I'm trying to encourage him to sleep on a bed. I think he has dementia a little bit and wanders.

And he's zonked already. I'd pay a million bucks if I had it, and it would help him be comfy :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have more than a few beds for my pup, both in the house and in the RV

I remember how many times you would tell Bubba to get off the couch, and how many times Bubba would look at you like you were speaking like a martian. :)

Now in this room it's difficult to find the floor with the amount of beds that Jerome has. But as he gets older, he tends to bypass all his beds and seek out the floor. I don't get it. This is why I wish they could tell us what they want. But also why I give him so many options, let him figure out what he likes most.
