How sad, he was supposed to be a hell of a nice guy. I remember watching his, I even saw him live once when I used to watch Wrestling. He was also involved in the WWE's reality show"Tough Enough". What is going on in the world? Seem's like this kind of thing is going on more and more.

ATLANTA (AP) -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press Tuesday.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son who were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard said test results may not be back for weeks or even months.

Once I heard that it was murder the first thing that came to my mind was Steroids and Roid Rage.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with the pulley of a weight machine, authorities said Tuesday.

Investigators found prescription anabolic steroids in the house and want to know whether the muscle man nicknamed "The Canadian Crippler" was unhinged by the bodybuilding drugs, which can cause paranoia, depression and explosive outbursts known as "roid rage."

Looks like I called it right about the Steriods.

Errr, no offense, but predicting that a pro wrestler is on steroids ain't exactly an amazing feat.

Is it? What do you ACTUALLY know about steroids other than media hype villifying them?

Benoit's actions were deliberate, and carried out over a period of time (a weekend). Hardly consistent with "rage" which is a crime of passion, and spontaneous rather than deliberate.

I refer you to my previous post. You weren't right. The presence of legally prescribed steroids means NOTHING. Benoit's actions are not consistent with a crime of passion. His actions are consistent with carrying out a deliberate premeditated plan.
