'Beverly Hillbillies' star Donna Douglas dead at 81

Man 81, time fly's, I remember watching this show as a kid and she was something to look at for sure.



Donna Douglas, the actress who won over TV viewers as Elly May Clampett on “The Beverly Hillbillies,” has died. She was 81.
The star’s granddaughter told TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2015/01/02/donna-douglas-dead-beverly-hillbillies-elly-may-clampett/) Douglas died in her Louisiana home surrounded by friends and family.
The cause of death was pancreatic cancer, her niece told The Associated Press.
Douglas appeared “The Beverly Hillbillies,” a comedy about a backwoods Tennessee family who moved to Beverly Hills after striking it rich from oil on their land. for all nine seasons of the show and reprised her role in a TV movie reboot of the series in 1981.

She sho' inspired many a teenage boy methinks!!!
Yet I had a teacher when I was 14 in 1968 that had her beat in the looks and very sexy body department.
I mean that teacher was a stone cold fox.. She gave me many fantasy dreams....:laugh::laugh::laugh:---Tyr

`Donna Douglas was in the classic TWILIGHT ZONE episode, "The Eye of the Beholder" ......the one where a "horribly ugly" woman spends the entire episode with her face swathed in bandages as she recuperates from reconstructive facial surgery. The entire episode up to the unveiling is shot from the first-person POV of the people performing the surgery.

*When the big "reveal" takes place.....the reactions of the doctors and nurses is that the surgery was a total failure. Of course, the "twist" is that the patient is the stunningly beautiful Donna Douglas, and the "normal" people all have an amazing likeness to Henry Waxman`
