I have always given my height as 5' 1". It was really 5' 1/2", but 5' 1" sounded better. So, last week we measured me at work and I have shrunk to 4' 11 7/8". Not. Even. Five feet tall.

Such is what age does to a person. It just had to take away that precious 5/8". Why couldn't age take away 5/8" from my posterior? hahahaha

I'm usually 2-4lbs lighter first thing in the AM too. Then weigh again at like 10pm and be like wtf?

At barely 5' I hear you! My dad was 6'1", my brother 6'2, as was my ex. My SIL is 6'7"! I don't think one of my girlfriends is less than 5'5"! I'm surrounded by tall people! Having taught middle school for years, I became used to being taller than 6th graders, only having them nearly all pass me by in height by the time they began 7th grade!

Of all places, Huffington Post has hosted some pretty good articles on 'short women.'

I used to be 5'2" and then had a breast reduction ... now I'm 5"2 1/2".

Perhaps if I taken them completely off I would be 5'4".

My first husband was 6'. My present husband is 5'11". They both like that I am short. Being short kinda sucks though. My daughter is 5'6". My BFF is 5'5". Like Kathianne, I am surrounded by taller people. I wish I were 5'4", but I seem to be going in the wrong direction. :)

I remember watching an Andy Griffith episode where Barney was too short to pass the physical exam. He managed to stretch himself with some home made contraption. Perhaps you should watch that episode and take notes.

Everyone should first, take note. If you stand in front of a mirror after you get up in the morning.
You are always going to be the same as you were the previous time anyway.

Measurements don't really matter.

Just like when someone asks you "WHAT is your Birthday?".

All you need to say is the date. And when they ask "WHAT YEAR?"

Tell them "The Same Date, Every Year!":laugh:

So, we measured me again on some new scales we got. 5'0". Yeah! The older one must have been defective.

You don't get a smaller posterior by age. You do that by making your boss angry.
