Received a rather disturbing message last night from my adopted kid sister. Here beloved dog, "Ginger", an 80# Shepard mix, finally died. I say finally because I would have put this poor dog down long ago, he was in such rough shape. Here is the picture that she sent with the message.

So you're thinking what I'm thinking.I haven't talked to her about specifics, yet. I left my phone downstairs last night while I was watching "The Guns of Navarone" on Amazon Prime, and I found her message about 11:15, and asked her "OMG what is that?" I haven't yet received a response.

And BTW this gal lives in Lilly white Suburban Atlanta. This is not some 1/2 native American country gal on a farm in Arizona...

I was assuming it was a joke. I hope it was. Perhaps in-house cremation?

Well I talked with her a bit earlier. The truth, although not as morbid as I thought, is just as strange if not stranger. The dog is in the photo, and he's dead, but he is in the foreground. The low resolution and angle makes it look like a pig pillow. Its owner was with the dog by the fire when it died in that position, and then the burning logs took on that shape.

So that pillow we see is actually a dead dog, and the smiling dead dog on fire is just something that appeared after the dog died?

I thought the photo was of a dog bedm it's favourite spot sort of thing, with the logs as a weird coincidence. :laugh2::eek:
