That's what Netanyahu just stated to congress - awesome!! Of course this doesn't apply to all foreign cases - but it does between Iran and ISIS. He pointed out that one was "Islamic Republic" and the other is "Islamic State" and both seek Islamic world domination.

Spot on.

This speech is awesome and still ongoing.

I couldn't tear myself away from the speech, waiting until it was over.

I thought that was the key line too. I also liked, "if Israel has to stand alone, Israel can stand alone." Then he sort of dared the US not to stand with them, contrary to relationship. Coming at the closing of the speech, after all the praise at the beginning, nearly every member had to applaud to 'stand with Israel.'

It was a masterful speech, praising 'even what is not known but by myself, what Obama has done for Israel.' He gave lots for Obama's minions to defend themselves against charges of being 'anti-Israel.' As with AIPAC speech, much of the introduction was pro-US/pro-Obama. No reminder of the personal attacks by Obama folks, total graciousness.

He went public point, by public point why this deal is a bad deal. He made clear that pressure in diplomacy sometimes means you have to let the other side walk out; in order to see if they'll come back. This has always been a problem for the US. Coming from ME history, he said the Persian markets are full of this type of power stands.

He left to the very end, the possibility that Israel may have to stand alone, but will not be exterminated.

"if Israel has to stand alone, Israel can stand alone."

Exactly what anti M.E. wars people like myself have been saying for the past 20 years.
That's not to say I think Obama's deal with Iran is great. but Israel is not some weakling country that can't defend itself. and we aren't Israel's Momma.

as far as Him giving a speak in congress goes.
Well OK fine. do all the heads of state that we are freinds with now have an open door to speak before congress to make their cases when issues concerning their Nat'l security or other issues come up?

Is the prime minister of Japan going to speak when China tries to take another island .
the head of Taiwan going to speak when China looks their way again?
The head of India when Pakistan points more nukes?
or the head of Pakistan come over when they have a problem with Turkey? or Vis-vera. t

the head of Mexico when they don't like what the president does about immigration? Or maybe they like it?
Heck what about equal time maybe the head of Iran should speak before congress too.

I like Israel and hope they live in peace, but to allow a foreign leader to speak in congress on our choices concerning U.S. national security is not right in my book.
It's a politically powerful move but not one that makes me feel that the congress people give d@mn about what the American people want and need on the issue. Think your letter on the vote either way is going to hold as much sway as this foreign leaders speech?

"gov't by the people for the people"... yeah

Anyone notice how Netanyaho smartly announced to Obama, and Congress?

"If you fail to support us, and help us defend our nation. WE WILL TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS ON OUR OWN. Without your blessings, or political BS".

Better yet, why are we allowing foreign leaders to make campaign speeches on our soil, to our lawmakers?
I am guessing GOP congressional members will receive nice checks in the mail soon.

You didn't listen to the speech? If so, what 'campaign speech points' did you hear?

Can't wait for the soon-to-come linkage to claiming GOP congressional members get Clinton Foundation like contribution checks.

Gabby. When did you become a member of the Democrat, Brainwashed, Black Caucus? You sound just like all of them who have been so easily fooled. Bet you even think YOU are intelligent.

Oh dear! Did you complain when Obama sent his goons to Israel to interfere in the upcoming elections? And, secondly, we did not allow him. We invited him! Many Americans myself included care about the only democracy in the ME.

god damned is she butt fuckin old and ugly

The California Democrat was visibly upset during Netanyahu’s address on the House floor, in which the Israeli leader urged Congress to take a more aggressive line against Iran as part of ongoing negotiations over Tehran’s nuclear facilities. Pelosi and other congressional Democrats were critical of the brash language Netanyahu used to describe those negotiations.
