News Flash- the reason they haven't become a story like Newton is because most are carrying some type of weapon, yup most aren't going to start something if they aren't sure they will still be standing with in the next few minutes. Lets face it these people that do things like this are true cowards that is why they pick the types that make them feel safe, even if they plan to kill themselves they want to get their point across before doing so.

The fact this is even something anyone would have to discuss means EVERYONE in that assembly are functional idiots. Those who have it right - to lift the prohibition - they are idiots for not demanding - working harder - whatever it takes. Those who support the prohibition? Holyshitballs. I'm telling you folks now. There is NO HOPE for sustainment of our society with THAT MANY f'ing FOOLS "leading" the worse-foolish...those who elect them.

May God help us.

Sgt. Clyde Boatwright, president of the school police union, said the delegation "did not get this one right."

"In a city with as much crime and violence, I'm deeply saddened to know that Baltimore City students won't have the same protections that every other K-12 student in the state of Maryland has," Boatwright said.

Sgt Boatwright is being intellectually dishonest. How were the Newtown kids protected? Police don't really protect so much as react. They can protect on the spot - but they can't be everywhere.

Want to protect kids? Keep them home. Want to mitigate the risks (which is the BEST LE can do)? Arm teachers. Armed guards. Build your school like a FOB.
