If you are not seeing the correct time after DS kicked in overnight - click on "settings" at the top right of the board. Then on the column on the left, click on "general settings". Scroll down to the second from last category for 'date and time options'. You can change the DST options in there if necessary to correct the time on the board.

I had to make a back end change overnight so that the time displayed correctly for guests. This also fixed it for me when logged in, so I assume it should be hands off for others as well (so long as your setting in your control panel is "automatically detect DST settings" as mine is.

That's fucked up. Now I look like a dummy. Well, it's not that I usually don't look like one anyway, but I really don't need extra help from you!! :poke:

Not to mention, I've only had 4 cups of coffee thus far. Give a guy a break on his writing when he's running on empty!

Not really a concern for me at present. We're currently on GMT. We'll change to BST (British Summertime) fairly soon - not quite sure when.

There will be those who say that changing is a waste ... just as they do when we go to GMT. Makes absolutely no difference to what ACTUALLY happens, though.

I went on a cadet cruise on a 378 back in the day, went to England, Germany and Denmark

During the passage we seemed to cross the "lose and hour" times during the mid-watch.

And if we gained time, it seemed to be during the normal work day

The Captain noted this also when he sent his report in, expounding on how he saved the Coast Guard "X" many man hours

It's like living Y2K twice every year. We can all thank TRICKY DICKY for this one.
