Reed's Extra Ginger Brew All Natural Jamaican Style Ginger Beer, 48 fl oz, (Pack of 6) at WalMART....
Iced cold and no alcohol.
Definitely not ------------ Royal Jamaican Alcoholic Ginger Beer....
Although I've had that before and it was quite good.
I now due to dietary and other health reasons, avoid alcoholic brews. Sad but true. -Tyr

With or without sugar? I don't drink tea, but my friend at work makes it. They add tons of sugar to it and everyone seems to love it.

At this precise moment, I'm drinking Samuel Adams Oktoberfest

Now, this is sort of an oddment for me, since I generally don't care for beers, with only a few that become passable to me. Usually I drink:

I also drink rum, whiskey, scotch, and the like.

Makes you sore? Like your head sore you mean? Or does Peri run around doing things she can't remember and then wakes up with bruises and sore?

Sweet tea, of course. Sugar and lemon.

A splash of cognac to remember my dad...
Seven years ago today he died (I hate euphemisms... we didn't "lose" him, I know right where he is... he didn't "pass away," he died). Every year since I have a splash of cognac on September 2nd...
See, one of the things he wanted before he died was a bottle of good cognac... My wife, who loved my dad dearly, bought him a very good bottle of cognac... He had a couple of glasses before he died and I took the bottle... No way was I going to leave it for the little prick of a stepson to finish...
Funny story...
Dad was something of a hoarder, books mostly, but he also had an affinity for cardboard boxes. I guess he figured he could use them to put his books in, and he did, but when he died he had a shitload of empty boxes around the house. We used to rib him if we saw a box on the side of the road... Anyway... We're at the funeral home that was handling the cremation and we went in to the chapel to say goodbye one last time and they have him laid out in a cardboard casket of sorts. I get it, no worries, I'm not offended... But when his widow, my wife and I go in to the office to discuss thing with the funeral director, I start laughing. My wife looks at me in wonder, the his widow looks at me oddly. I look back at them and say, essentially, that it seemed apropos that he, in the end, found his way into a cardboard box. They started laughing. I'm pretty sure the funeral director thought we were all three nuts...
Ah, the irony of life...
I miss you Dad. I'm doing fine.
