I can finally see the lights that run along my sidewalk, now that the 400 feet of snow has finally melted. My dogs are finally enjoying the yard, instead of doing their business on the back stairs to avoid the snow. I can see tons of grass and felt like spring was right around the corner.

On a slightly different note - today was parent/teacher conferences.

I got an email a little while ago telling me that they have been canceled and rescheduled for the 27th, due to inclement weather. Of course my eyebrows lifted as it seems nice out. I immediately went to weather.com to see what they are talking about.

Well F me, another 3-6 inches for today and another inch tonight.

Mother Nature will be getting a nasty note today from me as well.

Going from the 50's to snow is just cruel.

We had 5 inches or more of snow early last week, with ice, melting refreezing and totally messed up streets for about 5 days. Down here they do not have or operate the street cleaning machines like they do up North. We deal with snow about once or twice a decade here.
Worse part here is the damn drivers are dumbasses driving in it and very dangerous.
We are just getting rain here now. Last week far too much rain..
I feel for ya my friend... I havent liked snow since I was 15 years old...--Tyr

Jim. I grew up in the 50's, and 60's in Pennsylvania. And I remember snow before, and after Easter in April several times. Everybody seems to think like Gore, and that this is something new. It AIN'T. Guess the memory levels are just getting lower.
