Kudos to Ted for not thinking that congress is above what they expect from others. :)

Mmmm, Sen. Cruz's wife had insurance, she took leave during his run for office and the family is now sans insurance.

The "settled" law REQUIRES that Ted (as a sitting Senator) go through Obamacare to get insurance

And you find it funny that Sen Cruz obeys the rule of law?

Now we see what the left has an issue with, actual following of the rule of law

She read the title, then quick looked at the bottom of the article to ensure it wasn't from The Onion. She then posted thinking she had a "gotcha", by pointing out that the man who complained about it, turned around and 'chose' to use it - which really isn't the case - and reading the article would have told her that. :)

What drives the left crazy?

So Ted isn't wealthy or secure enough to have private insurance?
Obviously Ted is not a brilliant guy. Or much for forward thinking.

Ted Cruz launched his presidential campaign on Twitter on Monday morning. But the Texas senator’s first day as a Republican hopeful highlighted some of his team’s Internet foul-ups.

The campaign’s main website is TedCruz.org – that’s because TedCruz.com has been owned by a Phoenix law firm since 2004, according to the Washington Post. And the owners of that domain are using that site to troll Ted Cruz. Visit TedCruz.com and the only message you’ll see is:

“Support President Obama. Immigration Reform Now!”

But the Cruz campaign also forgot to register TedCruzForAmerica.com. That domain was registered yesterday. It now redirects to Obamacare homepage HealthCare.gov. Nor does the campaign own TedCruz2016.com, although Texas Monthly reports the domain operators are willing to hand that site over to him.

PredsidentCruz.com showcases a comic called “If I Were a Ted Cruz…” that features the senator and his likely GOP rivals. The Canadian-born Cruz also doesn’t own TedCruz.ca – another site that attacks the White House aspirant. Cruz haters own TedCruz.Tumblr.com too.

Nice of Ted to announce is candidacy at Liberty University. Whose students had to attend and participate in his rally or face financial penalties.

As the others have pointed out and you've chosen to ignore :

Asked whether it chafes to have to rely on Obamacare, Cruz told the Register:

"Well, it is written in the law that members will be on the exchanges without subsidies just like millions of Americans so that's — I think the same rules should apply to all of us. Members of Congress should not be exempt."

What kind of blithering idiot would fault a member of Congress for following the law? Are you mental?

Not only that, but he's following a law that he loathes. You should be commending him for it - but that would require that you had an ounce of common sense.

You and your liberal overlords should take a long, hard look at the difference between Cruz and Obama. Only one of them adheres to the laws of the land, even if they don't agree with the law.

Can you guess which one of them it is?

Reading this thread it becomes clear yet again that you, Gabby, didn't read the article that you referenced. This is a pattern with you, and the reason why you continually shoot yourself in the foot with your own words.

Whichever site you're copying from is only making you look even more foolish and the person you're plagiarizing isn't very smart, contrary to what you think - and we've already demonstrated that thoroughly in other threads, haven't we?
