View Full Version : Is it STILL snowing up there?

My daughter has a few of her friends over and they were flipping through the TV dial when they found a womens lacrosse game between Yale and San Diego State being played in New Haven. In a snowstorm, no less. The announcers said it was 30 degrees.
This began a source of amusement for these SoCal natives. Snow? In the last weekend of March? Whoever would have thought it? :cool:

Gabs you never heard the old saying March either comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb or vice verse ? Coming from the NE I had heard this saying since grade school and it always holds true, hell we had 28 degrees here in GA last night, and last week we had to days 85 plus, go figure :laugh: But that is March.

Yesterday was like a spring day. Then I woke up to 24 degrees this morn. :(

You know what though, I'll probably be the first to complain about the heat this summer too!! But I like turning the air on more than the heat.

Why yes, it is still snowing here. Snowed Sunday nite & Tuesday. Here's the backyard this morning.

Dang that stinks, I took the bike to the shop this morning and am getting ready to go put some wax on the other, 80 plus here today, time to ride. :2up:
