While riding in the car, when ever this tune comes thru on my local FM station, I ALWAYS crank it up... hopefully my wife isn't riding with me so it stays up until the end... :dunno:

Love the tune, but alas, I never bought any of his CDs because I'd never heard anything else from him...

Wonders if my local Used CD store would have it...

:dunno:

I'll look... cuz I'd love to have it at my pawtips...

Are you kidding? Billy Idol was the very popular in the mid 1980s... and he had several big hits, Rebel Yell, Flesh for Fantasy....

Favourite Billy Idol song was Dancing with Myself which he did with Generation X. Think he rereleased it when he became a solo artist. White Wedding has to have one of the best bass lines in rock in roll history IMO...

Idol was the punk era’s answer to Elvis. In fact, his early punk band,
Generation X, paid a snarling homage to the swivel-hipped Memphis boy in
their anthem, “King Rocker.” In fact, one of Idol’s biggest hits,
“Dancing With Myself,” was originally a Gen-X song glorifying the
slam-dance/pogo scene of the late ‘70s punk clubs.

Eyes Without a Face and Dancing With Myself are two really awesome songs. I've never been big into his songs, otherwise.

However, a great Generation X song is "Kiss Me Deadly".

Kiss Me Deadly was GenX?? I thought it was Lita Ford. Great song, though.

Yep, completely different songs, one's not a cover of the other. I like the GenX one, myself.
