And the Testarosa isn't bad, too!

:) I parked next to him (mine's the silver one) just for the pic, then moved to give that car the respect it deserves.

Love those Testarosas -even 20, 30 years beyond their prime they carry a lot of class. Even parked.

If it doesn't have tailfins or running boards, it's just a car.

What a gorgeous car....they were not simply cars back then, but a work of art.

Speaking of Duesenberg, here is a tragedy that occurred in this area a few years back...

What a shame. I know with some of the old bikes if it is stock you can register it but if you had a pimped out old Pan head ( or any of the old bikes that would fall under the law of they only need what came stock back then ) in some states you can no longer even register them, so they are nothing more than a show piece to be trailered from show to show. In other words dmp parked that way for a picture but even though the parking lot is empty some idiot will park next to him, always seems to work that way.

It is hard to bring these old vehicles back to life and have them meet safety standards for today, but when something like this happens you realize just how important the safety features are in the newer vehicles.

You know it never fails, when I take my bike into a parking lot I will usually park right up front in between the concrete pillars that most stores have in the parking lots ( to protect the bike ) but it never fails, someone will of parked even more illegal than I did just to get close to the bike.

Just to be clear, yes I am parking illegal but never in a handicap spot nor in the fire zone, the police never bother the bike because they know we are just trying to protect them.
