I have a Brother getting married in Cave Springs GA ( over by the Alabama GA line ) this weekend and he has asked me to be his best man, it is going to be a biker wedding ( the attire is a sleeveless black tee shirt and jeans for the men, jeans and a pink shirt for the woman ) I have my bike all polished up ( dam thing looks better than I remember it ever looking, picture will be posted ) anyway while I am gone I am hoping y'all can handle the board without me, but if there is any major problems Jim has my number just turn all issues over to him and he can get in touch with me to fix them.:laugh::laugh:

Actually we have no rain in the forecast, mid 70's for today and tomorrow and mid 80's for Sunday, time to ride !!!

Have a great time, Jeff!

And if you wouldn't mind, please say a prayer for travel mercies for my family, as some of us travel to Europe.

You'll be OK !! I've done the transatlantic route myself several times, from London to New York. A seven hour flight (probably an extra hour for you, to account for the extra distance to mainland Europe ?) ... read a book, watch an inflight film ... it'll be over before you know it.

[I recall once sitting on a Jumbo jet, waiting for it to take off .. seeing Concorde lift off from JFK, just ahead of us. Those were the days.]

My most memorable flight was from London to Reykjavik, Iceland. Beginning the flight over Iceland is like flying over the surface of the Moon, until you get to an inhabited part. VERY spectacular in its way ..

This wedding was like none other than I have ever been, it was a biker wedding but everyone except myself, my wife, and a few Brothers are deaf, they all live in this little town Cave Springs G.A. because it has a school for the deaf and most either work there or went to school there or both. And I must say it had to be one of the best weddings I have ever been to. All those folks signing ( communicating ) was wild to me, you could feel the love surrounding you, these folks opened there homes and hearts like none other I have ever seen, yes bikers in general do but these folks are fantastic !!! These folks have a disability and act as though they don't even know it, man I just can't say enough about them, true brotherhood and heck they even taught me some of the alphabet. But what they taught me most of all was the sign for I Love you, and I used that a lot this weekend.I wish Judge and Robin a life time of Happiness and pray God shines on them for years to come.

This is the Happy couple

This is the Preachers that married them, the one on the left did it signing, and David on the right prayed, for those of us that didn't understand the signing.

Jeff, the rings picture reminded me that I wanted to tell you that my niece is getting married in Sept. 2016, at the Harley-Davison Museum (http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_US/home/museum.html) in Milwaukee. She and her fiance both went to Marquette and wanted a Milwaukee wedding.

Now that would be cool, or I should say will be cool. I wish I would of done it the way I wanted also but heck I am happy and thank God I have what I have.

Jeff - Great thread! Is the groom blind, by chance? The way his arm is being held - reminds me of that.

No he is just deaf, Judge was so nervous before the wedding that I think once it was done he didn't care how anyone would hold him or much else. It is his second marriage and judging by how nervous he was I am guessing the first was horrible.

Being deaf would be one way to avoid hearing a nagging wife!

:D

Wishing their new union all the Blessings and wonderfulness allowed by the Heavens!

That was the joke of the weekend, we would walk into a room and see 20 hands signing and say dam it's noisy in here, and more than once I asked the wife about learning hand signs, all I would have to do was turn my head and I couldn't hear anymore, although I wouldn't see the slap across the back of my head coming either.
