This flick is a very good follow-up to the original, Bruce Almighty, but with no maniacle Jim Carrey hi-jinks, which is good in my opinion. This movie was also not as adult-oriented as the first, so definately take your kids to see it. Steve Carell is good as usual. Lauren Graham's ass in bluejeans--exquisite. The writing could have been much better--I thought the ending seemed kind of...eh. Also, Morgan Freeman as God didn't come-off as God-like in "Evan" as he did in "Bruce." He seemed more like a mischievious, magical creature to me in this one for some reason. Lots of animal humor and poop jokes in this one.
Final judgement: Good for the kids. Some good laughs. Not an oscar winner, but a feel-good comedy definately worth a look.
