"The Nuge" has always been outspoken. He's a conservative from Hell. That means the media and/or the left in general are going to misrepresent him at every chance. There's no low they won't stoop to.

He sure does Abbey, and hell he was a dope head and a guy that partied hearty every night back in the Sex Drugs and Rock & Roll days, yup he said things that where bad he did things that where wrong, but they disected this guys life into a 5 minute video, think about if you just gave 5 mins of all the stuff Obama has said and done, and remember Obama wasn't famous and having people write down every word he said way back when. I call Obama's name you can put anyones name and go back 40 years and find things they did and said that make them look bad.

Forgive the man for what he was........admire him for some of the things (MUCH of the things) he is now. As of the past MANY years, I can't disagree with the man one little bit.

But you have to remember, when he made that statement he probably had a sheet of acid in his back pocket, as I said it is no secret the "Nuge" partied like a rock star... but yes you are correct if you look at it that is funny as hell ( and nasty as hell ) :laugh:
But with that said Ted isn't the drug crazed Rocker of the 70's and 80's any longer either, and if you went back to the 70's and found others if they were honest they probably would tell you when they read that they thought of him as a hero , the drug era was a different animal sure enough.
I remember ( I think ) Steven Tyler of Aroesmith coming out on stage at Great Adventure in NJ, they started a song, he screwed up bad because he was so high, they quit playing and he just looked at the crowd ( who had paid good money to see them ) and said F*** you and left, the fans thought it was great, yup a whole different era. ( By the way I wasn't at this concert my brother SE was that is why I am not sure of who, but it was a big name )
