Reminds me I once worked on a ranch. I often unloaded hundreds and hundreds of those from a hot trailer into a hot barn . Then stacked them there .
June, July and August was the worst. Sweating and itching was terrible and the cowboys I worked with were damn tough hombres, they kept pace with me and neither of us stopped until the load was transferred and then re-stacked inside the barn.
We'd work a load, then drink some water with a 4 or 5 minute break--go right back at it.
After a few weeks both came to me and told--you are alright partner, we thought to burn you out but you stayed right along with us. They had bought me a cowboy hat then after telling me that they gave it to me and produced a case of cold beer.
We got drunk before work!! Then we sweated it out!
Damn fine men both were. They'd both be in their mid to late eighties's now, if still alive today..as that was back in 1973..-Tyr

Does coffee to the lips count as a "rep"?

I remember my friend Laura telling me her husband Tommy got a job at the local meat processor. He was throwing about a ton of the stuff a shift. Slimmed down, muscled up. Said he would never have done that at a gym for the sake of the exercise but when you're poor, sometimes the jobs you have to take have unexpected benefits.
