He seems to be seeking attention and replying to him just enables him. Isn't there a feature you can set to ignore posts from a specified user? If everyone put him on their ignore list, he'll eventually just stop posting and go away.

Not sure about a sin, but it is a waste of time for sure.

For him or you? If it makes you a better debater or provides an opportunity to gain knowledge that you didn't otherwise have then it's not a waste of time for you.

Jeff, and DMP. According to some of the opinions offered by many of our members here. There IS NO SUCH THING AS A SIN...which is why we find ourselves driven to answer the Imposter We call Gnostic. It's always easy to OUT the phonies every time, rather than allowing them to feel how their power is unchallenged by IGNORING them.

Then by all means fj carry on, as for me when thee is no debating but rather his way or no way it is a waste of time, you know kind of like when I get to the point with you where as I just say carry on, no need to beat a dead horse.

If paying attention to a demented message board participant puts a smile on his face, why not oblige? There are worse things in the world than putting a smile on someone's face.

I'm inclined to tell Gnostic Bishop to have an enjoyable day and leave it at that.

Is it a sin to close the window when the neighbor's garbage scent is coming in the house.....is it a sin to put someone on ignore who stinks just as badly and offers nothing to the reader except the same stupidity and hatred? Good post DMP. I believe it is a sin to simply waste your time when you could be doing some sort of good....as for Gnostic.....WHO CARES. AS Karl Marx said, if we'd stop feeding the monkeys or making faces at them, they'd surely stop throwing their "precious wisdom" all over the glass wall.
