This lady has a pet raven named Sam. She has numerous videos about him. This one really showcases his intelligence. Ravens have intelligence ranked on a par with chimps and dolphins and can learn words better than parrots. I am pretty certain I would have a hard time coping with a pet that I constantly had to out think.

Great thing about them big birds as pets as they serve another purpose as well, if hungry ( and plenty of stuffing, stove top I imagine, the bird isn't that big ) it could put food on the table.

Seriously I had a issue today that made me think, I was tooling down the highway running around 65 with a Brother riding along side me and a Hawk swooped down not 50 yards in front of me to pick up road kill, as I got close he started to fly but what ever he had must of been heavy ( and tasty cause he wasn't letting go ) well I got within 5 feet of him and I drifted left as did he, I drifted right as did he and then as I finally squeaked by him ( he couldn't of been 2 feet from me ) I happened to look in my right mirror and a Hurst had come out of nowhere and was driving behind my Bro, I thought man, is this some kind of sign.

Oh yeah, Raven's are smart as hell (unless from Baltimore). I want a Macaw, or a smaller Conure, but birdies are expensive!!

Here's what I want, a Blue Macaw:
