Well, it's a start.

The KGB was instrumental in the protesting hippie movement that plagued us for a decade... I suppose turnabout is fair play!

So did they all get arrested?

It is the end. The start was in 2012. The USA just waisted money of their taxpayers. "Russia is not the Ukraine", as a former Ukrainian President Kuchma said. http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/smile3.gif
Nobody was neither arrested nor bitten. They didn't violate the Law. So, there were no reasons for this.

Well, if you can keep your local hippie population under control, things will generally be smoother.

I'd keep a close eye on that woman in the picture wearing sandals, though. She looks like trouble.

Our next attempt at subversion will involve air dropping boxes of Tie-Die shirts from an SR-71. Hippies love that shit.

Balu. So, did PUTIN pay for their air-fare transportation to Siberia, or did they have to pay for it themselves?

Do you still believe WE AMERICANS are falling for all of your "I LOVE PUTIN" propaganda?

You are one, funny Russian if you do.

How many protesters does it take to protest against Putin's cronyism before Putin makes sure there's no one protesting?

Thanks to YouTube.....the FREE people, around the world, get to see how LIFE IN RUSSIA really is....

This is the stuff we understand....YOU do not want us to know about, or see. But since you defend Putin all the time.

This is for you:

Wonderful drivers, and tolerance that represents our American Liberal way of life here.

GO FIGURE!

Balu...so tell us about how you treat people in WHEEL CHAIRS. Then how wonderful Putin is?

It might be nice if more Americans still loved our country as much as Balu loves his.

I'm all for being realistic (not jingoistic), but sometimes it seems we tear ourselves down.

Well .. however relatively true, still, you'd have to be in a pretty bad way if you were as anti-Nationalistic as the British all too often are.

So, OK, there's a sizeable support for a Party like UKIP .. though in the last election, they only managed to get ONE Member of Parliament elected.

But at the other end of the scale, we've had mere public displays of the Union Flag (sometimes called 'Union Jack') - get this - branded as 'racist'.

I'd be amazed if this was also true of anyone's view of the Stars and Stripes, in the US !

Agreed, whole heartedly Abbey. But sadly, and realistically; as you must now know after traveling overseas recently. When WE say "There's no place like home" as Americans; it means more to us than our fellow Americans who have never been anywhere other than here.
In my opinion. More Americans should be forced to travel overseas to Third World nations in order to learn, and understand how valuable our Freedoms, Rights, and Liberties really are..other than living a life where everything is handed to them, without question.

Our veterans, and present members of the military generally know the FULL VALUE of being able to return to AMERICA, which most Americans have little, if any idea how Fortunate they really are, until....they don't have it for long periods of time.

How happy were you Abbey, when you finally arrived on U.S.Soil after being away?
That's what more Americans need to experience...first hand.

Unfortunately, our president despises all forms of jingoism...for being American.

Thanks for posting the pics of Siberia Balu, I didn't realize their where even cities there, actually looks nice. What I have seen of it is a prison that once you enter it doesn't look as though you leave, heck they make the prisoners every time they leave their cell walk bent over, looks like a fun place, but I bet it does make folks think twice before breaking the law.

No, it isn't. But it sharpens all the feelings.
When I was at about 12 y.o. I came across with the expression "See America first" and understood it's meaning. Then I was was lucky to visit almost all the corners of the USSR from the Far East to Kaliningrad and from Kirghizia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to the Noth, over Polar Circle, before I went abroad for the first time. When I flew from Vladivostok to Moscow, 10 hours flight without landing, at FL32 in cloudless sky I felt what it means "The Endless Russia", and looking down I realized that in any place there I am at home. Later I was able to compare.
Don't forget that Russia lays in 11 hour zones and when in The Far East and Alaska (there are approx 4 км between Russia and the USA - Ratmhov island - Kruzenshtern island) is evening it is morning in Moscow.

Probably better to do when you can avoid a period of heightened international tensions, Jeff. Go to Russia, and let slip that you're in favour of free nations, at a time when Putin's tried a further bit of adventurism ... and Putin supporters will hate you for it ...

First, I prefer to read the original in original rather than watching any filming. Then, I dislike Pasternak. For me he is too shallow-minded. I am not interested of specific Jewish views on the Russian History and Culture, especially if they are promoted by CIA.

"...The issue of whether or not the CIA had a hand in creating the international controversy that led to Pasternak's winning the Nobel Prize was definitively settled on 11 April 2014 when the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Intelligence_Agency) released "nearly 100 declassified documents"[50] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Pasternak#cite_note-50) confirming that it had, in fact, undertaken a massive propaganda campaign to influence the Nobel Prize committee to consider Zhivago for the award, starting as early as 12 December 1957: "Dr. Zhivago should be published in a maximum number of foreign editions, for maximum free world discussion and acclaim and consideration for such honor as the Nobel prize" [sic][51] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Pasternak#cite_note-51) In order to turn Pasternak's novel into an international bestseller worthy of consideration for the Nobel Prize, the CIA purchased thousands of copies of the novel as they came off the presses throughout Europe. When in the summer of 1958 the Dutch publishing house of Mouton brought out an edition of Zhivago, the CIA secretly arranged to "obtain first thousand copies of the book off the press and of these send 500 copies to the Brussels Fair" (i.e. the World's Fair held that summer in Brussels, Belgium).[52] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Pasternak#cite_note-52) In its announcement of the declassification of the Zhivago documents the CIA states that it also published "thousands" of copies of Zhivago and gave them out to Soviet tourists on holiday in Western Europe and had them smuggled into the Soviet Union: "After working secretly to publish the Russian-language edition in the Netherlands, the CIA moved quickly to ensure that copies of Doctor Zhivago were available for distribution to Soviet visitors at the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair. By the end of the Fair, 355 copies of Doctor Zhivago had been surreptitiously handed out, and eventually thousands more were distributed throughout the Communist bloc. [...] Subsequently, the CIA funded the publication of a miniature, lightweight paperback edition of Doctor Zhivago that could be easily mailed or concealed in a jacket pocket. Distribution of the miniature version began in April 1959."[53] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Pasternak#cite_note-53) ..."
