I am surprised he didn't tell us his real feelings and end his speech with Allah bless you, yes our fearless leader has worked God right out of his Independence Day Address altogether, I figure he has what one more he will make, that will be the one that he drops the Allah Bomb on us, heck he doesn't want to go to far just yet.

And yes we will have some mindless Libs talking about how God shouldn't be in Government, well he always has and in my eyes anyway always should be, but when you have a nit wit in charge this is what happens, fags can get married, but you can't mention God. God have mercy on those brainless idiots in charge of this once great Country.

What he didn't forget to do was throw his racist spin into his speech, how anyone voted for this POS is beyond me.

President Barack Obama marked the 239th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with his annual video tribute to America, but some people noticed something he didn't say.

"Obama left out any mention of God in his recent address," wrote Gateway Pundit (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/07/obama-leaves-out-god-from-4th-of-july-weekly-address-video/). "Instead, this year, he chose to end his speech with a very politically correct, 'Thanks, everybody. From my family to yours, have a safe and happy Fourth of July.'"

He shouldn't even utter the word considering his heretic support for the gay marriage!

Two words: Free stuff

yeah, he pretty tacitly was doing the "Ponies and pie" promises to everyone. Of course, a certain amount of automatic points came due to the minority angle (He could've been black, latino, japanese, whatever minority is immaterial, it helped.)

Miserable representation of our Nation.

Allah might mean God to an Islamic,
But God was the term used here in the 18th Century,
Even by the slaves back then.

This man is a fool...a Post Turtle.

Why would he even utter One Nation Under God, when he believes it is one nation under him?
God has no place in his life, except for when he churched with Rev. God Damn America.

another note: on the video, he couldn't even be spontaneous with his speech to the country.
I checked out his eyeballs during.
The eternal teleprompter president.

What does God have to do with Independence Day?

Unless you are in Texas, where the new U.S. history books will include Jesus among our nation's Founding Fathers.

Try reading the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.

You mean Texas hasn't rewritten the truth? Glad I was educated in the right place. The stupidest people I ever went to school with was CA. We got to re-learn the 2nd grade in the 6th grade.

You and your ilk rewrote history to suit yourself. We still teach real shit in Texas. Like Thomas Jefferson you losers love to quote was unitarian. John Adams was a puritan. Our laws are based on judeo-christianity, period. I bet you're one that thinks judeo-christian beliefs are inherent which is bullshit.

Did you read the article ??? As for your question, how about this Country was founded with God, but the reason I asked if you read the article is it seems every Independence day speech has ended with Thanking God, even the nit wit in charge now has done it each time, yes he slowly took God out of it but up until this year God was mentioned.

I won't argue that the Declaration of Independence brings God into the reasons, 'as the giver of original rights,' as justification for separation and also as the reason for chucking 'Divine Right of Kings.'

Fast forward though to the Constitution? Noticeably absent if the mention of God. Freedom to worship is there, as is the freedom to not. "Year of Our Lord" is there, a then common way to close out and date communications.

I think the 'diversity' of the Framers, though overwhelmingly Christian and Protestant, included deists, a Roman Catholic or two, a few with 'their own versions' of faith...led to the inherent tolerance of freedom of religion. Indeed the leap in tolerance from the late 1600's to the writing of the Constitution is something that really is fascinating.

That is great Gunny, heck nothing better than seeing your kids get theirs lives on the right track. I have two older boys and one followed my way and is working his tail off, works 7 12's every week until the job is done then takes a couple of weeks off before he travels to the next job, the older one, well he is living with his Mom and the last I heard he is sponging off of her, it does do me good to see some one sponge off of her now, but I sure wish he would grow up and go to work like a man. My younger ones are following in Momma's foot steps, they are all ready talking about the schools they want to attend and are promising they will buy me a new Harley and a boat when they get out of college, Man I hope I live long enough for that. Not the gift part just the part of watching them do so well.

Why is it that you pop in every now and again, but don't stick around long enough to answer the difficult questions asked of you? Then you'll return in the distant future with these types of posts, but again don't answer the difficult questions. You're either Hillary Clinton, or a troll. :)

What does independence day have to do with God?

What does war have to do with God, and yet every president ever has ended with "God bless America". What does the state of the union have to do with God? What does leaving and coming into office have to do with God? What does giving a speech on the campaign trail have to do with God?

I wonder why these questions weren't asked of Dem presidents when they used the same ending to every speech?

You have to believe in something bigger than you. A country. A Constitution. Something worth dying for.

It no longer exists.

I think people in general, especially conservatives, are too quick to go into political depression with setbacks. For some reason the general tendency is to withdraw, 'all is lost', 'end times', anything but punching back twice as hard.

That last phrase is meant in a non-violent, intelligent response to whatever is bringing them down. Find some lawyers and pay to get things changed. Maybe some should read:

I agree 100%! I know they've all said it, I know why and what it means. I also think our country and our independence is more deserving of "God bless America" than when a candidate is asking voters to vote for him/her, where they also state the same.

Why not withdraw? Why the crap should I die for some ungrateful punk? Back in the day, we believed in something. Now? Some asswipe shoots a girl in front of her father. We have a President making friends with everyone we hate.

I care about people like you. These lame fucks that are worthless ... not so much.

Well, I still believe in God. I still believe in the 'ideas' that were used by great minds to put together the ideas of this new country, which has been on a path of 'becoming more perfect' ever since. I still believe there are more things that tie us together than separate us.

Sometimes it's a good idea to step away from the bombardment of 'gloom and doom' and take the time to think of what's going on, what has been. For all losses lead to gains. All gains encompass many losses.

The only way events will tend towards the way we'd like them to lean is if we work for them. Giving up is just not an option-for more than a day or two. ;)

I couldn't agree more, heck taking care of your own kids at that age can be a job at times, imagine having 20 or so to take care of. :scared:

Seriously I love kids, But I do have the up most respect for those that can teach these youngins , I coached baseball and football to kids that age and that wasn't easy, my hat is off to teachers in general, but the ones that teach the youngins, well that is really special.
