Secondly... The Murder happened BEFORE the Blue moon even occurred

Third - What particular RITUAL is he talking about? Wicca has no Rituals where Human Sacrifice is a part of it.

First do no harm. Also. no ritual I am aware of involves human sacrifice and a claw hammer is not a ritual tool. The victims were apparently bludgeoned with a hammer and then had throats cut Oh yea, and the sheriff's up for reelection. Last go round he was all about gang violence. This cycle, the occult. Both pointless in the face of an area plagued with pockets of high crime and drug activity. And the news hacks latch right on to a statement a reputable LEO should never have made.
