That's what is being discussed and why not to necessarily cut funding:

Trump Open to Keeping Most Taxpayer Funding for Planned Parenthood10:10 AM, AUG 11, 2015 • BY JOHN MCCORMACK (http://www.weeklystandard.com/author/john-mccormack)

On CNN this morning, Donald Trump suggested that he's open to allowing Planned Parenthood to keep more than $500 million in taxpayer funding it receives every year. CNN's Chris Cuomo repeated the dishonest (http://www.tulsaworld.com/opinion/othervoices/rich-lowry-planned-parenthood-s-pathetic-percent-lie/article_072a51c3-8f2d-50d7-85a6-ec9ddd6fd752.html) Planned Parenthood talking point that only 3 percent of its "services" are abortions and that federal funding doesn't directly pay for abortions. Trump suggested that he's open to keeping government funding for the "good aspects" of Planned Parenthood:

Trump: I would look at the individual things that they do, and maybe some of the things are good, and maybe, I know a lot of the things are bad. But certainly the abortion aspect of it should not be funded by government, absolutely.

CNN: So you would take a look at it before you'd defund it. That's what's being asked right now. Many in your party are doing the opposite. They're saying defund it, and then look at it. You're saying look at it first.

Trump: I would look at the good aspects of it. I'm sure they do some things properly and good and good for women. And I would look at that.

Trump: #PlannedParenthood (https://twitter.com/hashtag/PlannedParenthood?src=hash) is "abortion factory," but would take a look at it before defundinghttp://t.co/oixQvbltcs http://t.co/PnO9knul9U

The very idea of supporting Planned NotParenthood with US citizens' tax dollars is unConstitutional. They wouldn't get a nickel out of me, and I'd change their name to something that's less of an outright lie.

The Good Planned Parenthood does... is far outweighed by the bad.

You mean it does something good? "Planned Parenthood" to me means discussing all options. Not leaning someone towards a money-making scam. Can't show an ultrasound. Why not? Because you might see something living in there?

FYI, 3/4s of the Planned Parenthood and/or abortion clinics are shut down in Texas. Rick Perry might not be good on camera, but his actions speak louder than words.

Very good to know about Perry, thanks.

One thing about Perry, don't judge that book by its cover. He's also manned our own border with our own people since the Feds can't do the one thing they're supposed to. Being so busy and all making decisions that don't concern them. If you have a state that's 50% hispanic and they keep him in office, vote 78% for marriage being between a man and a woman, and back his play to keep illegals out, WHO is actually representing WHO? An idiot from Chicago that relocated to DC because other idiots voted for him, or someone that lives 200 miles from the border and lives on I-35 one of the largest influxes of illegals, drugs and in in this Nation? It only runs from Laredo to Minneapolis.

He's a poor speaker and looks like he came out of "revenge of the Nerds" on TV. Under his watch, Texas challenged the Supreme Court more than any other state. Texas has a better economy than the US. The 8th largest economy in the world for an individual state? I mean come on. CA couldn't buy its way into a yard sale.

And, as an aside, something I think is funny in hindsight, about 10 years ago Frank and I get sent on a service call to repair some electrical stuff at a clinic. It turned out to be one of "those" clinics. I told him I wasn't going in the place. He just said "good". Called the owner and told him we'd go home before we'd work there.

You got to kind of look at the big picture. Franks -- btw who is Mexican and his Mexican name is Paco -- mastered in theology and his wife is a preacher. Then you got the tee-totaller owner of the company who spent more of his profits on his church than he did on his business. And you know me, I ain't going along with anyone's program.

The clinic had to hire a different company. :)

I guess the moral of the story is, killing babies ain't popular where we come from.

I have to wonder that as a nation that supports the shedding of innocent blood....how many decent Presidents, Doctors, Mothers and Fathers have we slaughtered. All in the name of convenience

I loathe anything about Planned Parenthood. They have such a bad reputation, there is nothing good enough they can do to rectify the bad

I don't have to wonder. I look at this 6 weeks old baby and there's no wondering involved. And I remember my girls and my granddaughters.

You've known me long enough to know what I think of that "convenience" crap. There are several ways to not get pregnant. Murder isn't one of those options.

THIS is what I think about planned parenthood.

I do think it's telling that the first issue Trump gets 'nuanced' about is Planned Parenthood:

Trump: "There Are Two Planned Parenthoods In A Way," Look At The Positive Also

Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood on Hannity last night, saying that abortion "is a fairly small part of what they do" and cutting all funding may not be a good idea.

DONALD TRUMP: Maybe unless they stop with the abortions, we don't do the funding [for other services]. There are many ways to do that, because I'm totally against the abortion aspect, but I've had many women, I've had many Republican and conservative women come up and say Planned Parenthood serves a good function other than the [abortion] aspect.

Since I'm going off, I might as well do it right. You know I don't half-ass at anything.

Note to dumbass leftwingers:

If you give a dime to Foster Brooks, you're liars, dumbasses, frauds and hypocrites. Save some indiscriminate baby in Africa while murdering your own.
