All of a sudden Trump looks fantastic, Hell even Hillary, Naa I can't go that far, but what is even worse than the Mooch for President, how about the dream ticket, Hillary for president and the Mooch for VP, never happen, I believe the only reason the Mooch would even think about running was so she could continue to live the luxurious life style she has come accustom to over the last 8 years, yea they can probably afford it, but it is just so much more fun when it is on someone else s dime, so I don't see the female dream team coming together. But what a joke, these woman believe they have the experience to be president simply because their husbands held the position. At least Hillary has some experience ( all bad ) but some just the same, the Mooch is going to run on she raised 2 kids  and other than vacations with them I am sure the nannies raised them.

Could the 2016 race for the Oval Office get any crazier?
On the GOP side, there’s a long list of experienced politicians with long lists of accomplishments to their names seeking the presidency – senior governors, senators and statesmen – and they’re all trailing Donald Trump, a shoot-from-the-hip billionaire with a knack for saying what many people across the country are feeling.
And on the Democrat side, there’s surging support for a self-avowed socialist who is challenging Hillary Clinton, who thought she was the anointed candidate in 2008, only to be knocked off her pedestal by upstart Barack Obama. She considers herself anointed now, but finds her support fading quickly.
So how about the gauntlet being thrown down by … Michelle Obama?

I don't think the mooch is electable. But hell. She's almost as unqualified as her dipshit husband.

Well, it WOULD explain why the BBC is so obsessed with promoting her to British audiences, all of a sudden !! She gave a 'lecture' to an audience of girls at a school in Tower Hamlets. So far, the BBC has scheduled TEN screenings of it, all of these within a two week period (with the 'true fans' capable of watching it on iPlayer as well, exactly when they choose, as often as they like ...).

It's not as if she had anything 'momentous' to say, either. It was just a 20 minute suck-up speech, praising the school's pupils for their 'achievement' and their 'future promise' ...

And just incase we missed all ten screenings, you're here to remind us daily about them, ya? ;D

You're saying that the BBC Parliament Channel is available to view by American audiences ? Or, that the BBC iPlayer can be played outside UK territory ?

Really ?

The extent of awareness Americans can have about these is either news I give of the fact of the BBC's obsession in screening the 'lecture' so many times, or, checks independently made online for UK BBC scheduling.

I have a right to comment .. even if the Left might wish otherwise. 'Sorry', Noir.

I think that Michelle Obama is the only First Lady whose pet project, in this case the Food Police in school cafeterias, has been a net negative on people's lives. Kids can't even have snacks machines in their school anymore. And the Food Police is the sum total of her accomplishments.

'Sorry' Drummond, i have a right to comment on your obsessions with the BBCs obsession, of which you wouldn't wish otherwise ^,^

Seriously though please keep mentioning this BBC thing in threads cus its like watching a bad 80s sitcom and occasionally the grouchy next door neighbour shows up to spout their hilarious catchphrase.

Anyways i've dragged this gem of a topic enough, sweet dreams Drum, dont let the Tony Halls bite ^,^

What about her accomplishment of being the first trans-sexual First Lady?

Translation: you hate seeing the BBC 'outed'. If you had your way, you'd have the world see them as 'neutral, responsible broadcasters, whose neutrality just HAPPENS to favour the Obamas'.

...yeahh, and I'm Neil Kinnock ... :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Actually, he is right about the BBC being a leftist piece of shat.
Is not Hilary running for president a topic that can be discussed in this thread? Or that of here character and that of the people(BBC) that promote her?
Myself, I find it interesting getting a foreigner's(Brit) view on American politics and candidates..

I am guessing that Mr. Drummond refuses to sanction any British media that does not include a Page 3 Girl.

And yes, we can listen to all channels of the BBC if we so choose. Along with all the Brit media.

I have no objections to The Sun's Page 3, that is true.

But neither (we're restricting this to tabloids ?) the Daily Mail, nor the Daily Express, have a 'Page 3' equivalent .. though I regard both as excellent newspapers.

But let me be clear, Gabby. You said 'we can listen to all channels of the BBC'. Curious that you said 'listen' .. are you restricting your comment to their radio output ? Because if so, yes, I know that radio channels are streamed on the Internet.

BBC Parliament, however, is one of our domestic TV channels .. along with BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, and BBC News. You can WATCH all of these, is that what you're saying ? [I'm not talking about specific programmes outputted by BBC America, but the channels themselves, Gabby.]

By the way (Noir will be delighted at this) I checked the BBC's scheduling once more. The count of the BBC's re-screening of the Michelle Obama 'briefing' has increased from a 'mere' total TEN rescreenings, to a newly-scheduled total of FOURTEEN.

The BBC is obviously seriously 'obsessed' with her. Any Presidential ambitions she's pursuing would certainly explain it ...

I'd of thought you'd have had higher standards than to purchase a publication of Richard Desmond's...and as for the Mail, if you're continuing to support a publication that is so robustly sexualises girls as young as 8 years old, you fail the common decency test.

What ON EARTH are you talking about ?? I hope you're not trying to claim that the Mail takes a pro-Muslim stance ?

No, Noir. I've no idea what you're talking about. If you're going to make a claim like that, you should be prepared to back it up.

LET'S SEE YOU DO SO.

... Actually .. I did a small amount of digging. Turns out that THE GUARDIAN (Leftie paper, and in competition with the Mail) is busily singling out the Mail in this way.

That same day, British writer and activist Owen Jones started a Change.org petition entitled Stop the Daily Mail sexualising children. Within 24 hours it had around 30,000 signatures. Jones illustrates his point with examples including a story that ran on the Mail website, featuring images of Heidi Klum's eight-year-old daughter being picked up from a gym class, with captions describing the child as "a leggy beauty" and saying she "showed off her best model walk through the parking lot".

The Daily Mail isn't the only tabloid that has been accused of sexualising children. In the report Just the Women, the groups Object, Equality Now, Eaves and End Violence Against Women (EVAW) monitored 11 national newspapers over two weeks in September 2012 ....

As for Owen Jones, the 'activist' mentioned above ...

Owen Jones (born 8 August 1984) is a left-wing British columnist, author, commentator and political activist. He is a regular columnist for The Guardian and since 2015 for the New Statesman.

Ho hum.

8 year old daughter of model Heidi Klum described as 'leggy beauty' in headline... I won't attach pictures including the child's legs, but if you so desire they're available on the daily mail website.

... and you've run with the same piece that the Guardian's Leftie reporter did !

You should expand your horizons beyond the Guardian, Noir.

So you're fine with what the Daily Mail posted about an 8 year old girl?

Also, I don't read the guardian.

Well, I certainly don't ! But then, I don't have to, in order to check online for their propaganda efforts.

But tell me, why are you so intent on picking the Mail out ? Let me REquote ...

I am picking on it because YOU buy it.

If the guardian was printing similar stories, and no one here was buying it, we would all agree its disgusting and that we should not buy the guardian...which we already don't buy anyway. However it is clear that you DO buy the Mail, is this the sort of organisation you want to support?

I frequently buy the Express instead (on account of how it's a bit cheaper ..).

But to answer you, I happen to want to support CONSERVATIVE newspapers. You see, on political matters, they offer a splendid balance.

You think (silly question) that I shouldn't support 'that sort of organisation' ?

Jeffrey Archer, Noir. He may have gone to prison. But he was still an advocate of Conservatism ! You see, he did have his good points ..

Well of course the daily ex-princess is cheaper, they just make up the difference with their advertorials (:

But hey, who am i to judge, free market and all that, you put your pennies towards whatever conservative publication you like. After all they're conservative.... parading pictures of 14 year old girls and younger for their interested readership doesn't matter, because they're conservative.
